Always an awesome experience with the whole family.
Requested style: I requested a University of Lynchburg soccer theme for the first game my son was in at his freshman year of his first college. They did an excellent job with the school colors and theme mascot.
Specialties: There is some great talent at CA in there hand painting nail designs, one of the top reasons I drive 30 minutes for them to do that.
Cleanliness: They are very strict about everyone being clean and sanitized. I live this about them, not all salons are equal. Cleanliness is very important to me.
Stylist: I have had every stylist, all are very friendly, polite and very educated in all services they offer. Very personable, excellent work ethic. I love going to CA whenever I am in town.

Me and my sister went here to get matching toes and had to come back twice to get them fixed and she still didn’t fix them. People that were in the waiting room literally left after seeing her toes. Also the prices online are inaccurate. I paid $45 for gel toes nothing extra and that’s ridiculous because it’s usually only $30-35 anywhere else in the area I’ve been to. Mind you me and my sister tried to leave before we even had anything done after seeing everything for the first time but the lady insisted we stay and started the water before I even decided. Don’t come here because they’ll never own up the the mistakes they make and refuse anything to make up for their mistakes.

This place is usually so nice and relaxing but the girl who did my nails today did not know how to do nails. First their crocked,uneven, I have nail polish on my skin and have super thick nail polish. One of my nails was hurting so bad she couldn't even put polish on it and acted like she ain't want to redo the nails. I really liked going here

They do an amazing job on my grandmothers nails every few weeks and so I tried them too and these ladies are great! Very kind. they do a fantastic job and i will be back for more!
UPDATE: I got my lashes and my eyebrows tinted and she did absolutely amazing, first time ever doing it and they looked so cute. I'm so thankful for her. Thankyou!

California Nails is a wonderful place for your beauty needs. They are competent, polite, and even their clientele are positive friendly people. They make me so happy and they always do just what I ask. Highlights would be my eyebrows and that they take their time. They don’t rush anyone through their services.

I walked in at 4:23 stating I need my nails and my toes done but unfortunately things were not organized and ran smoothly like when John and Lily are there and now I have to go back at 10 a.m. to get my nails done which is a waste of gas and time since I live in dinwiddie very unsatisfied because I was supposed to go bowling but had to cancel my plans because two nails were ready to pop off ol boy glued them but that wasn't any good they popped back up there was no sign in book ma told the young lady I was coming to her to get my nails done but she had to do someone's pedicure. But if I would have been told from the door that I couldn't get both done that would be one thing but I announced what I needed done from the door since there was no sign in sheet and being t was there well before closing I don't understand why services couldn't be provided or business conducted more professionally. Been a customer for almost twenty years and this was NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE !!!!HOW LONG SHOULD IT TAKE TO DO ONE PERSONS NAILS ??FULL SET???FILL IN???COLOR CHANGE???PEDICURE ???Services: Foot massages

Have no clue, why they are even in business. I have yet, to see this establishment open at the posted time. The only individuals to service you after 1-3 hour waiting time are the owners! Two people, with one stopping mid service to wax eyebrows to no existence. Mind you, the service is basic. Not a salon for an experience, technicians who pay attention to detail or are creative. Rude and unprofessional is an understatement. Typical salon, in the area in which it is located, so that says so much. You get what you pay for. They're just trying to make a buck, literally.Had two young AA apprentices in there, who do FIRE nails, better than the owners, by FAR. Young experts, the new generation who know how to actually SLAY nails to perfection and are worthy 150.00 nail sets, Not the 40.00 mediocre set you'll receive here.Good thing you don't have to spend your money at establishments like this anymore, because social media and entrepreneurship will direct you to quality service and expertise, with one click.

I've been coming here since I was 16 years old and I'm now 33. I've gone to other nail salons which I regretted because California Nails is the best out of everywhere I've ever been too! Thank you for yalls amazing service and amazing work that yall do!
