Someone in a previous review said that Pointers is in the heart of Highland Springs, but I would like to make a correction - Pointers IS the heart of Highland Springs.By no means is it perfect, but it's Pointers. Only locals would truly understand this. Even if I lived closer to the Q-Market, I'd still make the walk here.

Okay. This is the real spill.Everything in Highland Springs is getting shut down. All of the classic places that have been around for 50 or more years. Pointers is in the heart of Highland Springs. It's been around for absolutely ever. Now, let's get down to business on the store itself. Day shift the owner runs it. He can be sometimes a little Moody. Breakfast sandwiches homemade, and good. If you're in a rush DO NOT GO AT THE LOTTERY TIMES ON DAY SHIFT..he gives them top priority and will not proceed to next customer until they are completed. Idc..Idc..he won't multi task. Store is sometimes empty with snacks, and they've cut down on selections. If you buy a cold drink..check the date on it.Night shift is amazing. The girl who works at night is very friendly, and will multi task. If you order a sandwich, she's the one you want to make it for you. The guy who works at night, sometimes with her, in my opinion only, is not the friendliest fellow, but maybe he just doesn't like me! ? Anyway, the owner grows a garden in the back and once it produces, he uses the tomato's and other stuff to make your food. And it's good. Chicken salad and tuna salad is made fresh. The burgers are good and the pizza is damn good too. Cigarette prices not too bad for being a mom n pop store. The place is a classic spot in highland springs. Oh..they added gambling machines and their smack dab in the middle of the store, which makes it a bit crowded. All in all good spot.

Best gas station convenience store very clean very friendly employs the best breakfast biscuits and very fresh & the best barbecue sandwiches if you haven't tried there barbecue sandwiches it's a must the best barbecue sandwiches in the east end area

Been open forever! They have gas and a few snacks. I hope there's never a Highland Springs without Pointers. Im surprised it hasnt been historically recognized by now.
