Guy pretty much stole my Samsung plasma. Said it couldn't be fixed yet never responded for me to come pick it back up. Shady and unprofessional. I called over 10 times to get my TV back. Don't waste your time. He will lie say it can't be fixed then ghost you as ge resales or keeps your TV.

Please read the other reviews ( google, yelp, etc.) prior to booking any service with this company. The one star reviews are legitimate and consistent. Tyler's TV is an authorized service provider for Samsung, if you can, I suggest reaching out to a different technician. This company is extremely unreliable and unprofessional. Major Pitfalls: 1. Little to no communication with the customer. 2. No updates on the initial request for an assessment. 3. The tech lied to Samsung about ordering parts for a television he never assessed. Asked for a picture of the television screen via text and never responded. 4. After numerous inquiries through Samsung, the tech canceled the service and stated that he is no longer servicing DC (used parking as an excuse and will not work on a 75in TV). This should've been communicated in the beginning, instead the technician was unresponsive. Finally, I called the company personally and the tech explained that he was going through a number of life issues. I am emphatic to his plight, but this is not good business practice. After shifting through multiple reviews on the internet, I now understand that this is typical behavior. Samsung needs to reevaluate the company, as it is a reflection of their customer service and I no longer will patron them as well.

The were contracted by Samsung to fix my tv. For two weeks they completely stonewalled me- first they couldn’t access their system,. Then they needed to order a part, then everyone had COVID… I called 21 times and they never once called back when they said they would. I finally had Samsung call and they said they were too “busy” to do the service. Complete waste of time.

I've had an open support case for my $6000 LG TV for two months now, with no response from Tyler TV. I've called, texted, called LG directly, everything. My TV doesn't even turn on and I have no way to use it. 2 months without even so much as a phone call?

Although it took some effort to schedule my repair and get a hold of them (I get it, they’re busy), the repair process was very professional and friendly! Only took about 15 minutes to fix my tv. Definitely would recommend ??

All bad reviews are right... After 2 different attempts and this guy promises to call back, he never did over 2 months waiting. If you are in the same boat, do like I did and call LG customer support again and tell them to remove his name from their reference. Eventually they will. Very unprofessional. If you are busy, just say so, don't promise to call the customer back "in a couple of days". Good luck!

Excellent, prompt service in your home. They were responding to my Samsung TV under Samsung warranty. Tough going dealing with Samsung but they assigned Tyler's TV to do the repair, and it was easy from there. Knowledgable and courteous service. Highly recommended!

0 stars for this highly unprofessional business. My TV manufacturer selected Tyler's TV to handle my repair. However, this person made a dozen different excuses to not actually come do the fix. His main excuse was that the part was on order and when he had it in had he would call me back. Every time I spoke to him it was just fabrications and no call back ever. Please do not give this person your business.

I called Tyler TV, unfortunately after having had paid $130 for a useless service call from HelloTech. Carlton diagnosed the problem rapidly for $85. This is now my go-to provider for TV installation and service. Can't beat 35 years experience!

Tyler's TV was recommended to me by LG customer service. It took a few attempts to schedule an appointment (I get it he's busy), and I was happy I was patient. This was my first experience with Tyler's TV and I was very satisfied with the service - - Prompt, courteous, professional and he knows televisions.Cheers and wishing Tyler's TV continued success.

They do not answer the phone or respond to messages on their Facebook page. Unfortunately, they have a monopoly on the tv repair service in the Northern Virginia area. According to the LG and Samsung websites, Tyler’s TV and Video is the only place for tv repair. Your next option is Gaithersburg, Maryland. We need another another business in this area that can provide tv repair service and will be better with customer service.
