This place is not family friendly at all. My daughter went in today with a double stroller one in front of the other. The lady at the front desk looked at her with a very nasty look and said "oh NO you have to leave that up here" she had a 5-month-old and a 3-year-old with her, so she very well couldn't do that. When she turned to leave the door was slammed in her 3-year-olds face. This is no way to treat anyone much less a customer. I would give this place a negative rating if I could.

So
1• Can't try on anything
2• No changing rooms
3• Return policy is store credit
Why would you shop here?

I got turned away from making a donation at 12:15, cut off is at 12 PM sharp. This was extremely frustrating in the moment, but I guess just know when they say 12 they mean 12!

I really like this thrift store so organized and most staff are so friendly i don't like the return policy where You only get store credit i was there today to return 3 items and got the credit slip i was looking i was looking in the kids section when i drop My backpack i Guess the slip fell i kept looking for it when i realized the worker behind me had it i kindly ask her it if she found it on the ground it clearly said 16 dollars which it was My total she said it was in the ground and i explaning to her i dropped it she said there was no way of knowing that which it's true all it is is a slip of paper with amount written on it no way of telling whos it is so i lost 16 dollars i understan the same could happen with cash but the worker was there when i return things.

I've been coming here for a few years now. It's a good location with great prices. I understand the 'no try' policy kind of sucks, but other than that, the store is organized with friendly. There is a 4 day exchange with receipt policy for store credit, which is fine. Just make sure you like what you are buying first.

i’ve been coming here for several months now and they always have incredible jewelry, clothes, and trinkets for the cheapest prices i’ve seen at a thrift store. I absolutely love the environment in here, and the workers are great people:) Not only do they provide amazing items, they also give back to the community in different services. For sure recommend this place.

I have never had such an upsetting experience at a store as I did at this one today! I went with my baby to look at clothes and baby toys. No sooner did I start looking, a woman barks out "NO STROLLERS." She then proceeds to follow and badger me about it! So I loudly proclaimed I was just going to leave! What a way to make someone feel completely unwelcome in your establishment. There was no way as a woman by myself that I was going to carry my baby around while trying to look through things and then stand in line and fumble in my purse for my wallet! So unsafe! I will never be back at this disgusting store and will tell everyone I know to avoid it.

I've donated to The Closet for many years but won't return based on several experiences with the unfriendly staff and their carelessness with the donated goods at drop-off. My last donation included a number of clothes -- several of which were new with the tags still attached and all of which were in great condition and on hangers. When I drove up, the two staff members outside ignored me when I drove up, and one of them scowled when I walked over with the clothes on hangers. Without saying a word, he grabbed them, threw them carelessly into a bin, and started to walk away. I asked for a donation receipt, which displeased him even further. Since I'd had a similar experience with dropping off goods previously, I decided that in the future, I'll spare myself the stress of dealing with obviously disgruntled staff members and will find another place to donate, such as the "buy nothing" websites or the clothing bins in parking lots around town. The Closet provides a decent service to the community, so I was happy to donate things in excellent condition, but it's unpleasant to be confronted with negativity and disregard from their staff.

I come back for the good prices, but also avoid the store for the chaos. Always full of moms who have their children running around misbehaving lol. The staff is hit or miss, some are sweet some are sour. One of the only reasonably priced thrift stores in the nova area!
