My daughter is still searching for the "perfect" pointe shoes for her (12 models and counting...). We had a great experience at the Cinnamon Tree in Herndon. Our fitter was very patient and informative, took the time to ask my daughter what she liked and didn't like about her previous shoe and guided her while trying on several options. We never felt rushed to make a choice, and it really felt like our fitter was committed to helping my daughter find the right pointe shoes. Highly recommend!

I regret to inform you that my experience with this dance shop has been nothing short of a nightmare. Placed an order on December 7th, 2023, with Maria, a new sales representative left in charge while the owner was conveniently tucked away in the back room. Purchased 2 black ballet shoes from Hanami, anticipating a delay due to the holiday season, but what transpired was beyond my imagination. Despite five phone calls and an email over the last two weeks, I learned today that my ordered items couldn't be obtained, and they proposed an alternative without bothering to inform me. The owner claimed to have instructed Maria weeks ago, but the message never reached its destination. Fuming at this appalling level of customer service, I promptly demanded a refund. Beware: if the items aren't physically in the store, they'll gladly take your money and leave you in the dark about the status. Absolutely unacceptable!

Excellent service to kids and toddlers. Very patient, great selection of items. Prices reasonable, store beautifully decorated. SUCH a better experience than ordering 3 different sizes of ballet shoes off of Amazon and finding that none of them fit! Just go here to get your dance items, you'll spend your time much more wisely. They have a nice mirror & barre set up so that dancers can be on a "mini stage" to see how they feel in toe shoes etc. Bonus, there is a Habitat for Humanity Restore right nearby if you're looking for fun decor or furniture finds.

Love that they have Skin tone samples so that you can match your skin shade. So far they have had everything we've needed.

They have a wide variety of items and accessories required for dancing, rhythmic, and theater activities.Quality? Average to good.The good point is there are always store associates to help the customers, though, for a busy time, you should be patient since sometimes the store is crowded ( Saturday )The store is clean, and the employees are polite.Negative:1.Price: above average, mostly if you compare it with online shops. But I don't recommend buying online, especially for kids, as it would be hard to find the correct size online, and an unfit dress or shoes affects the performance badly.2. Item presentation: As a customer, I think they should manage some of the aisles and shelves better.

A place for all levels of various types of dancers. Great for gift shopping. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. This placed moved locations. There is plenty of parking.

I went to cinnamon tree Herndon on a Saturday hoping to talk to the store about skin colored tights and shoes. We have not done that before. I got very little help in picking out colors. I am not a dancer myself so I was hoping I got advice on the right colors. Very disappointed. I got condescending responses I thought, I mean if I knew a lot about the choices, I wouldn’t come to the expert, I would have just ordered on Amazon. I ended up feeling like I might have made bad choices on sizing.
