I was assisted by Lynelle, who greatly helped me start over anew with my hair. She and everyone else at the salon were so kind. I was surrounded by good energy, and felt myself in a safe space. Lynelle was very professional and sweet. I absolutely love my hair and the time and patience Lynelle had with me. The salon is clean and well maintained. Price wise it was very affordable as well. Thank you for the wonderful experience! I will visit and book again.

Called late morning, quickly set up a same day appointment and was in the shop by 1pm. Got taken back within a few minutes. Fiona did some very neat cornrows just using my natural hair, and checked in with me to make sure they weren't too tight. All the front of house staff were pleasant and helpful. A great place to get your hair done.

Very bad customer service. First of all they don't know how to deal with customers. Hair coloring is different issue but customer service very bad and they don't care. Idk that lady is the manager or just a worker. She keep saying I don't care. They masing my the hair and when try to fix becz Is her fault . She charge more money before discussing anything. Top of that she denied.
What ever she right is false statement. She did the hair color . But the lady not did the properly becz back side still some spot black and front top same the . She returned to the shop and ask can u please fix it .. she is okay becz that her mistake. And she start it without discussion for payment . They charged the money for hair color the one she didn't do it proper way .so y she asking more money . And when we try to discuss and argue she is rude lady call police .
This is the customer service? Give wrong statement and blame on customers .

First, this place is taxed for their final work. The work they do and the price at the end don’t match up. They only charge that much because they know where they are located and that’s not cool.Second I’ve been here many times. I got my hair pressed and my fiancé gets his hair braided here. Over the phone Ive been told and assured I can sit in the waiting area. I got there in the middle of winter for the lady to tell me I can’t sit in their empty waiting area while he gets his hair done. Like she’s an idiot that can’t see it’s snowing. Plus it was empty like it always is when we go. Two weeks ago he got his hair done again. Parts a mess and I go with him because we are busy and on the move and I had to sit in 90degree weather in the car. As a black women I agree that if a black women is in charge just don’t go bc you know the service will never be worth it. Just look at how they respond to people. We won’t be back <3 and we will be going to the Africans that charge less for better work, without the attitude, and have some human decency to let people sit down in their EMPTY sitting area who are paying together in harsh weather conditions.
RESPONSE UPDATE: it’s looks like the salon is full of idiots my problem was never with the weather. The problem was their staff lied AND we no longer have covid for there to be any covid restrictions. I couldn’t care less by what she is distributed by. The way they respond to people is a true reflection of the business they do. Lazy, sassy, not worth any money. They give black businesses a bad reputation and as a black women they deserve no black dollars.

Although the front desk staff was pleasant I have to say that it was not a good experience for me or my son AT ALL. My son was scheduled for 11am to get his hair dyed and retwisted… it is 2:30pm and my son was just waiting in a separate room claiming to be processing the color but in reality he was waiting for his stylist because she starting doing someone else’s hair during his appointment. At this time I had to tell them NOT to do the retwist because I was told it would be another hour and a half to complete the retwist alone because she had to finish the other client first.
Now it’s time to pay and I am quoted $285 for his hair to be dyed and he does not have a whole head of hair not to mention I paid 190 for the same process when I got his hair colored from them before. The explanation given was that they had to do the process twice so I was charged double because the color was not bright enough ummm at that point you tell me the price and ask if I would like to proceed you don’t proceed and then tell me when it is time to pay! Completely unprofessional insensitive and I will NEVER come back here. Also, when I arrived home I retwisted my son’s hair and noticed that his hair was still dirty with build up and had to rewash his hair again….COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
Update to your response: You are not telling the truth at all the same process was done the last time we were there to get his hair colored because he got a bright purple so it had to be bleached and dyed twice as well and he also got his hair retwisted. Also I ASKED YOU DID YOU NEED ME TO STAY AND YOU SAID NO HE IS FINE! My son is 17 by the way so let make that clear he is not a toddler or even a pre-teen he could of called me if you asked him to as well to discuss the changes in pay and service…you have brochures of prices online and in store but they do not tell you whether you need to repeat a service or not that is YOUR job to relay that…In addition you have my number you could have called I was in the parking lot working the entire time! Every review you respond to is an excuse for everything not an apology which is bad business practice you never take accountability for you or your staff’s actions the customer is ALWAYS wrong and you are always right…wish you all the best but please stop lying!!! You are surprised but I addressed my concerns while I was there, I still paid because his stylist did work on his head and I don’t believe in working for free…so I’m not sure why you’re surprised but I am definitely surprised by your response!

I recently visited Sheldeez Salon for a last-minute appointment, hoping for a simple hair wash, detangle, and style. However, my experience turned out to be far from satisfactory.
Firstly, the woman who washed my hair used a fine-tooth comb so aggressively that she punctured my scalp, leaving it sore and scabbed even days later. She then proceeded to use her nails, making the process unbearably painful.
Despite detangling my hair beforehand, the stylist tangled it back up during the wash. She attempted to detangle it in large sections, which failed miserably. Instead of addressing the issue with care, she insisted on trimming my hair and proceeded to blow dry it without detangling, causing further distress.
The lack of attention and care throughout the appointment was shocking. Despite spending two hours under the dryer, my hair remained damp, adding to my frustration.
The experience was not only stressful but also traumatic. I left feeling overwhelmed and disrespected, vowing never to return.

I enjoyed my day at Sheldeez, walking into the Shalon and being welcomed like Family from the very nice young lady at the front desk. I just knew that I have found my home salon and my Stylist Sharon’s ???????. I will be telling my Family and my Church Family all about Sheldeez along with showing off my very very lovely hair style?????. See everyone soon. Much ❤️❤️??

I’ve gone to them for haircuts, relaxers, a good old wash and silk press, and I’ve always had nothing but a perfect experience. I did jumbos one time that I didn’t love, but that was simply the style And I think maybe she didn’t understand exactly what I wanted but the service is always A+.
I will definitely continue to use this establishment. They know how to make a girl feel beautiful ?
