I can’t speak for everyone else, but the black lady who took my blood today was incredibly nice.We joked and laughed. I honestly wish I knew/remembered her name.Ma’am, If you ever see this, and remember the big guy you had trouble finding a vein from the Smithsonian, that’s me.You were the best. For everyone else, it’s a sketchy looking place but easy to find with GPS . I got in quickly with my scheduled appointment. If the business owners see this, please treat the nurse that helped me me with love and respect. A few extra bucks wouldn’t hurt either.

If there was a way to give it zero or negative stars, I would! This location has unprofessional, sloppy staff making a lot of errors dramatically impacting the patient. In my case, I had a doctor's order for CMP, CBC, and Vitamin D bloodwork for the upcoming orthopedic surgery. Here is what happened:1. Phlebotomy technician incorrectly entered the physician's order in their system forgetting to mark testing for Vitamin D2. The blood draw itself was sloppy - the technician failed to properly apply the bandage pressing on the puncture wound, which resulted in severe bleeding through layers of cotton dressing and clothing3. The technician incorrectly prepared blood for testing which compromised specimen integrity and rendered CMP panel useless, thus necessitating making another appointment, taking time off work, and enduring another blood draw. Here is an excerpt about this printed on my results:SPECIMEN INTEGRITY COMPROMISED FINALWhole blood, unspun or partially spun gel barrier tubewas received more than 6 hours since collection. Afalse elevation of K, Phos and LD as well as a falsedecrease in glucose due to prolonged contactwith red cells. If you can avoid using this Quest location, I recommend that you do!

You always have to wait long time here regardless you had appointment. I’ve been here at least twice. Every time I had to wait for the entire room to go before my turn even I have an appointment. Prepare to wait 30 min-an hour . Pro: the nurse Paris is very nice

The staff members tend to be rude and dismissive. One made fun of me for saying I was a bit nervous since I usually feel faint afterward. The same person also struggled to find my veins and tried 1-2 locations in each arm.I only go here because it is close and insurance takes it, but I’ve started driving to Labcorp all the way in Fairfax (on Arlington Boulevard) because they are much more efficient and professional.

This place is terrible. Choose anywhere else. They called the wrong name twice, and then tried to blame me for not coming in when I was called. I think I know what my own name is!!!!!’

I generally don't end up having good experiences with these types of places, but I was pleasantly surprised this morning. I made an appointment ahead of time (many more appointments available than LabCorp by the way) and my doctor sent the orders to them. I only waited a few minutes after arriving and checking in at the kiosk before the tech, Paris, took me back for the blood draw. Paris was very nice and explained everything, and had no issues getting the needle in. My only issue (and it had nothing to do with the tech) is the policy for taking a credit card to pre-authorize the estimated patient responsibility. I called my insurance company ahead of time to make sure they covered the tests and they said they do, so I was surprised at the estimated amount. I understand they probably have people with balances after that they have to chase, but I thought the amount was pretty high.

If you are a walk-in, I would be prepared to wait upwards of an hour (and have a dozen others be tested ahead of you). Completely disregard the testing time you receive after checking in - you’ll be there much longer.

Very bad service. I have an appointment they took three people before me without an appointment and she lied that I don’t have appointment . When I asked her why you’re doing this they threaten the will call the police. I waist my day. I left without doing my blood test even it’s very important. Don’t go there they are the worst.

I have always had a pleasant experience at this location for my annual blood draws. Phlebotomist Wilda is very gentle, kind and professional. Others in the past have been great as well. Check-in is done on a tablet for appointments and walk-ins. There is no front desk.

The smoothest appointment ever. I will always choose this location going forward. Very Quick, clean, and great customer service.

I had a three hour glucose test today and Felicia was amazing. I am extremely uneasy having my blood taken but she was so patient and gentle. I couldn't have gotten thru the testing today without her.

I've been going to Quest Herndon for over 10 years several times a year and in the past they were okay, not great, but okay. Lately they have been staffed by poorly trained and/or unprofessional staff. Six months ago two different techs couldn't draw my blood despite multiple sticks and the sample they got couldn't be used because it had been drawn incorrectly so I had to go elsewhere. Today, I stepped out to collect a sample from my car after my blood was drawn and returned two minutes later and knocked on the door as instructed. No one came so I kept knocking and calling out to them for over a minute. No other patients were in the office and I could hear them just just chitchatting with each other. So I started knocking harder and finally they all marched up to the door, verbally berated me and when I asked them what was wrong with them for not answering the door, they accused of being a racist, grabbed the sample out of my hand and slammed the door in my face. I'm also filing a complaint with the corporate office. Their behavior was inexcusable.
