They don't deserve even one star, but i guess i don't have any choice . I scheduled an appointment for my daughter, unfortunately because of my car problem I got there 12 mins late, on my way I called them and told them I am coming soon she told me if i don't get there in 10 mins the doctor will not see my daughter. It was my first time with MyEyeDr. I took my daughter out of school early too to see the the eye doctor. The worst customer service i have seen. I will not recommend anyone to the Herndon office.

The Herndon location is the best! Taylor was especially nice, informative, and patience by answering all of my questions. Thereby allowing me to make my decision.

I really like that doctor but this last experience has been horrible. Waited over 40 minutes in the waiting room after being taken back, I only came mainly to get my eye allergy prescription refilled, after saying to the front office like are you going to see me I need to leave this is crazy long, they said ok ok and then the doctor came and got me out of there. well Ive had to call back 3x last week to get my prescription just sent into CVS, last I was told it would be Friday or Saturday, well guess what its Sunday and still no prescription sent in. Tip for anyone going to this office is to not leave before your prescription is sent in. Guess Im calling when they open Monday….this has been a horrible experience. I get they have emergencies and need to shift stuff around but repeatedly being pushed to the side and not taken care of as a patient is really really disappointing

Went to Dr Finley's for years. The My Eye Doctor took over. First time billing amount was wrong. Second time I was charged for a contact lens fitting when I was there for a follow-up on scratched eye, had to go back n forth w billing/mgr person there, and yes, she agreed I had no contact lens fitting. Next times, they couldn't access my eyemed discount received (said my eyemed was inactive). Finally GAVE UP on My Eye Doctor and NEVER again.Dr Grant was always great, but wasn't worth the headache of going to MY EYE DOCTOR. Switched to a new practitioner at another practice, nothing but smooth sailing.

Dr. Grant is amazing and he is able to assist his customers well. I bring every member of my family to this location. I also received excellent customer service from staff.

Long term patient of this practice and really enjoy the care I receive from Dr. Grant. Came in on a weekend to get new frames and lenses and frankly, I have to agree with other reviews. Customer service is not great. Used to be that the person asked by the front desk to help with glasses selection would...you know...actually help. Ask what you're looking for, etc. Instead the person asked for my phone number to get my name. Didn't acknowledge she'd actually found it. I stood there a bit, finally said...did you find me? "Yeah". Nothing else. Ok, I went off, tried a few frames on. Found one I liked and came back to ask if anything could be done to help temporarily with a scratch. She told me to go talk to someone standing behind the desk. I was left wondering to myself...Aren't you supposed to be helping me? She got up and left. We sat there a while, not knowing where she had gone. When she came back we asked if she'd found the answer to my question. Again she just gestured to someone else and said go over there and ask him.I dunno. I felt like bare minimum effort would just be her saying hey so and so can you come over for a moment and answer this question instead of sending the customer on an errand? After three times prompting for this to happen, she finally did it.Front office used to feel friendly and helpful, now it feels like customers are an inconvenience. I don't know if all My Eye Dr practices are like this, but if Dr. Grant leaves the practice, that's all that's making me come back here, and I'll leave, too.

What happened to this place? I came here a year ago (saw Dr. Kim) and had an excellent experience. It was so good that my husband, who was observing) wanted to switch over from his doctor's office to mine. The customer service is waaay downhill. I was left waiting in the lobby for over 30 minutes for an appointment I was on time for. Then, on top of that, the man who ushered me in didn't give two cents about his job. Completed a service and didn't inform me that insurance wasn't going to cover it, so I have a 44 dollar charge that I didn't intend to have.It such a DRASTIC change.

Ever since the corporate myeyedr conglomerate bought out this place the quality of the service has steadily declined. The staff have no idea how to properly place orders, fit in new lenses, and give customers the assistance they need. I have been trying to get the lenses I ordered for months now, and I've had to deal with them breaking a pair of frames I loved because a staff member didn't bother to make sure they were properly loosened before they jammed new lenses in, had lenses not have the correct transitions applied to them despite making it explicitly clear during visits, and the staff making new lens orders based on the shape of OLD glasses pairs because they are either to lazy or apathetic to check the frame order history. I wouldn't trust the clowns here to run a hotdog stand, much less an optometrist.Edit: Once again I’ve ordered a new pair of lenses and they were too large for the frames. It’s gotten so ridiculous to the point where even the MyEyeDr people near my college suggested that there might be some negligence on the part of the people here. And no thanks to the intern who wrote that canned response. I’d prefer that you guys do the work and figure out what you’re missing to get some halfway decent quality control rather than make me spend more of my time trying to get you to do your jobs properly

I’ve followed Tiffany for years since she was in Winchester. She has to be one of the most knowledgeable opticians I’ve ever come across and have always made my glasses to a T of the prescription provided and has always updated me with newer technologies for the lens make up or sold me frames based off the feedback I’ve given her over the years. She has become like family to us over the years and my whole family travels anywhere she goes. This office is far out of our way from home, but we will always travel wherever Tiffany goes. She is a GEM to MYEYEDR and she is a doll baby. If you go here, ask for Tiffany.

This place was great before my eye doctor took over! They fit a patient in before me, then told me I had to reschedule. When I asked to speak with the manager, the staff said she had just left. I asked for a phone call but never got one. Poor service and will sadly not be return to this office.

I had the most wonderful experience from the second I walked in to the moment I left. The new manager, Tiffany, was beyond helfpul explaining my insurance when I asked and Maddie was a joy to work with. She took the time to help me choose the best glasses for my face and I had the best time working with her. If you get the chance to go here please work with Maddie as you won't regret it

This used to be Dr Findley Eye Care. Dr Grant is fantastic and both my wife and i have been going to him for years. There was a bit of a transition going to My Eye Dr but things now are great. Si was our Glass Guy who helped us find a great pair of glasses. He was so patient and had many good suggestions. I highly recommend them.

This place used to be the best. Dr. Colin Grant has become someone we actually look forward to seeing, he really took care of us, my kids absolutely love him. I have two children in CRT lenses (specialized lenses to slow the decline of their eyesight) and we've been seeing him for at least 3 years now, if not 4.I'm not one to leave bad reviews but I've witnessed the decline in customer service and front desk staff since this place was taken over by My Eye Dr. The good staff have left, the ones who cared and had your back. Just today I showed up for our appointment and was told it was CANCELLED. I was told that maybe I pressed a button by mistake on the text confirmation, I looked up the text and I definitely had not cancelled the appointment by mistake. All the front desk person could tell me was that it was cancelled "by the system automatically". How is that even possible? It's enough that we have to wait WEEKS for appointments to even get seen when follow up should be urgently scheduled, and I've been patient with that, but now an appointment I scheduled weeks ago was just mysteriously cancelled? Unacceptable. This is absolutely the last straw for me. While it breaks my heart because we love Dr. Grant, I will not be staying as a patient. You just lost a patient that spent thousands of dollars every year on these specialty lenses. My Eye Dr is just a corporate machine, and you'll never get the actual personalized care you need. Don't even bother, take your business somewhere else.

I do not recommend this My Eye Doctor location. I purchased a very expensive Nike glasses in Jan 2020 and the frame has had lots of issues since I had them (loosing screws, falling off the behind ear part). I recently took glasses to have a minor adjustment and I have been very disappointed for spending way so much money for such a very low quality pair of glasses.I talked to the store mgr (white heavy lady- don't know her name). She took my glasses to the back and when I got glasses returned, I noticed the metal frame got lots and lots of scratches. I asked her about the scratches that were not there before and if she used very heavy chemicals. She responded she didn't and she never do that. I hardly ever wear my glasses, I use my contacts 80% of the time or maybe more and my glasses should look like new not with lots of scratches all over and I know she did something bad maybe she was not paying attention to wh she was doing and didn't notice she had scratched all the frame.I have used glasses for at most 7 months during the time I owned them. That manager did not seem any friendly at all, she looked like she was mad and probably very unhappy about her job. I have been to this location before and they also have very high employee turnover, probably no one is happy to work at this location in 709 Pine Street in Herndon, Va and everyone leaves work in very short time.My opinion is that this place has a terrible unfriendly customer service and they love to damage your glasses if you go to them.I never expect any optical to do any damage to a very costly pair of glasses and such a very poor quality for a Nike Brand.Visit at your own risk and take your chances to get your glasses damaged by the manager or any other employee at this location.
