I had a great experience shopping at Mohar Indian clothing! Sri Vidya was super attentive and helped me pick a beautiful saree for a wedding I needed to attend the next day. She was very generous and was able to alter the outfit within 30 minutes before closing. Great designs, customer service, and help! Super excited to wear this! :)

This lehenga was extremely beautiful for the wedding we attended in LA California! I received multiple compliments from the other wedding guests! My husband and I were voted the best dressed couple!!! It was extremely easy and convenient to order from Mohar. They are all so helpful and friendly! Thank you for your exceptional customer service and help! You guys are the best! We will continue to purchase from this store for every occasion In the near future! I already ordered another lehenga and am so excited to wear it to the next wedding!

Very limited men’s items, there were no
Mirrors in the dressing room to see how the item looked when trying on. I did purchase an item but did not end up needing it. I called and spoke to a lady explaining I didn’t need it as my wife found the one we brought from home, but she curtly said they don’t do any returns or exchanges. Normally I never would have paid $130 for just a kurta but I thought I needed it so bought it unfortunately. Mind you this was just a couple hours after buying it, not worn or anything. Not a great way to treat customers.

I recently visited Mohar Indian Clothing Boutique in Virginia and left thoroughly disappointed. The boutique significantly upcharges on regular Indian outfits, which are bought for much less from India, misleading customers expecting fair pricing.
The salespeople were excessively insistent, making the shopping experience uncomfortable by following me around the store, which felt more intrusive than helpful. A particularly frustrating policy was being allowed to try on only two outfits, severely limiting my shopping decisions. Moreover, they demanded I leave my phone at the desk before entering the changing rooms, a policy that felt invasive and disrespectful of my privacy.
I purchased a cute outfit from their clearance section for my daughter, but the inconsistent pricing made me suspect it might have been previously worn or of subpar quality. Despite the long drive from Gaithersburg, MD, the service worsened as the 8:00 PM closing time approached, with the staff rushing us and showing little interest in helping or making a sale.
Adding to the frustration, although I am a size 6, suitable for small to medium in Desi wear, the salesperson kept insisting I try on much larger sizes. This not only questioned my judgment but made the experience all the more disappointing. I would not recommend Mohar Indian Clothing Boutique to anyone seeking a straightforward and pleasant shopping experience. ?

I’ve been here a couple times and today was the last time i’ll ever go. Your sales lady followed my cousin and I around the store, to the point when we turned around she was in our faces. It’s unbelievably uncomfortable. Do you think I’m going to steal something?
You ask people in reviews to call you to advise you on how to run your store better. How about leaving people alone to shop freely? Some more free advice, let people take pictures. No one is stealing your designs. I wanted to send photos to my fiancee so he can come look but now you just lost two customers who were looking for wedding outfits.
