Sometimes it's dirty. You try to do the right thing and wipe down the equipment with a wipe, but dispenser is often empty. Men's floor drain in bathroom is clogged and bleach water pools. Not enough equipment since people sit on it between sets scrolling on their phones for five minutes before going to next set.

The yoga class is completely fake & honestly the most boring experience I've ever had. It's so dull that it puts people to sleep even before their regular bedtime. This is unacceptable.

Really good setup. Lots of machines and good classes. Many other gyms I've had typically have crazy busy times to avoid and this one doesn't comparatively.

I used to regularly go to this gym before I moved to a new community . There is no la fitness at my new location so I visit the Herndon location twice a week

This is what I call a "mid-scale" gym. Where you have luxury brands like Lifetime Fitness with 24/7 access and amenities like whey bar, basketball courts, and an outdoor water park, this gym costs far less and has what you need for a solid workout, nothing excessive. I give it 5 stars because it's worth the price and gives all I need, nothing more, nothing less.

exceptionally rude staff and general manager Diego. Don't waste your money for broken machines and out of order equipment. La Fitness is on rapid decline. Take your business elsewhere

Gym is definitely nice and new, however it gets super packed. I usually use the weight racks for Bench, Squat, Deadlift, or any compound lifts but those were always occupied. Decided to go to Gold's Gym as they have many weight lifting stations to cater to my needs. If you're just here for cardio and other miscellaneous exercises, I think it'd work for you uses. This gym has an indoor pool for laps if that's your thing.

Pretty decent gym with things spaced out and around, square ish gym floor with racks, cardio, free weights, benches etc the typical gym setup. What I liked was how clean the women’s locker room was, with the jacuzzi being nice and warm…the perfect temp. But the jets were super violent, like the jets were pumping water all over the place and getting on my towel etc. hopefully that gets fixed. The women’s sauna also says it’s permanently closed? I would give 5 stars if the other issues were resolved.

Bad service, the sauna and the jacuzzi do not work. They also offered me towels with an extra monthly cost, I am paying for it and there are days when they do not have them ready at the time I go. It's dirty.

The pool, sauna, steam room, and pilates room are all closed for maintenance. They still have cardio machines and weights, I think, maybe probably. Management would be wise to simply close the facility until they figure out how gyms work. If you're looking for a gym, save money by not joining for the privilege of not being able to use the facility.

Well equipped facility with treadmills, ellipticals, exercise machines, swimming pool, jacuzzi, etc. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, and the members are nice.

Place isn't taken care of very well! And to many people sitting on machines on their phones not working out.

Kids play area is unsafe. Kids are using a broken table as a ramp to slide down on push cars and other kids standing there could get hit by them. I pointed it out to the kids area attendant today and she didn’t seem to care. She tells me “I let them do it all the time” and says it’s okay if you don’t want to put your kid in there.
I didn’t expect this as a response.

We recently started using the LA Fitness location with the Kids' Area, but unfortunately, our experience has been far from satisfactory. Our younger child has faced issues almost every day with older kids pushing him or pouring water on him. While that is still manageable, what concerns us more is the unsafe behavior we’ve witnessed.
The older kids have been making ramps out of tables and riding toy cars on them— with kids inside the cars. This poses a serious safety risk, as they could easily crash into the concrete walls or other children. When we brought this to the attention of the caretaker on duty, her response was alarming. She told us that as long as no one got hurt, she didn't mind the behavior. We expressed that it seemed unsafe, to which she rudely replied, “Don’t bring your kid here if you’re uncomfortable.”
That was the final straw for us. We expect at least a basic level of safety and professionalism, especially in a space designed for children. We do not intend to return and will be discussing this with the manager. If you don’t enjoy your job, fine—but the least we expect is for the kids to be kept safe and for staff to respond responsibly when concerns are raised.

Like going to the gym. It's clean and rarely have equipment problems. Would like to have a device to squeeze water out of bathing suits though.
