I recently visited the Giant grocery store and, overall, had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the store was clean and well-managed. It has a good layout, making it easy to find what you're looking for. However, like other similar Giant locations, many items tend to be priced higher compared to some other grocery stores in the area.
Unfortunately, I had a negative experience in the bakery section. I wanted to buy a loaf of bread and have it sliced. After picking up the bread, I noticed there was no one at the bakery counter to assist me. I waited for about 5 minutes, hoping someone would show up, but no one did. I then asked for help from an employee in the neighboring deli department. She came over, looked around, and simply said, "Sorry, nobody is here," which was quite obvious. She then walked away without offering to find someone to help me or calling a manager. I was quite disappointed with the lack of customer service in this situation.
Overall, while the store itself is well-kept, the service could definitely use some improvement, and the employees should be more responsible and learn willing to help.

he other day, I bought Lindt chocolate and when I got home, I found out it had expired a year ago. They had a lot of that chocolate in the store. Also, they sell it at a higher price than other stores

Maria is just amazing! I can’t tell you how much she brings to the table . I drive out of my way to shop here to see her:. I also love that she has such an Amazing support for all things going on in the world as well as supporting kids in need on her days off. She recently gave me an amazing head scarf to wear in support of what’s going on in this world. We need more Maria’s. I also love Elaine and Justin

This store is well stocked, with a great selection and has easy access to Fox Mill Road. The up keep could use some attention, and perhaps the employees would benefit from some courtesy training. Very few acknowledged me when I spoke to them, and some flat out ignored me. After this happened twice, I stopped speaking. One lady pushed her trolley of rotisserie chickens right in front of my cart, parked it there, and then walked away from it as if she didn't even see me. I had to go around. This all follows the visual impression I got when I selected a shopping cart and the area was unkempt and strewn with trash. It remained in this condition when I left the store. Management at this Giant Food should remember that people can buy food items at any store. It's the treatment customers receive from your staff that can make or break you.

The store has improved over the last few months. I’m glad to see new management taking over and understanding their employees. It seems like they’re more happier nowadays.

New manager. The grocery store I used to describe as, "the worst produce on the planet!" has been much improved lately, still spotty on some days, but much better than it used to be. Been through this cycle before at this store, we'll see if it sticks this time. The staff has always been great.
