Since my last review in 2014, Choi has moved to a new location nearby and is as wonderful and excellent as ever. I've moved to another state but I make appointments with her for whenever I pass through. Her haircuts - including cut and color - are so good they last twice as long as anywhere else. All I can say is she'd better never retire!

Choi is amazing! I never know what type of style to get and she always makes my hair look amazing, even after it's grown out a couple inches. She's a super sweet person and truly cares about all her customers. I'm never getting my hair done anywhere else.

I've been going to Choi's for years when she was at her previous location. She moved to Cirque Salon Studio located in Herndon Centre in 2020 and now has her own personal studio that seats a single customer. The place is sanitized between each customer appointment, has an air purifier in the studio, and precautions are taken in place for covid. You have to ring the phone buzzer so that a limited amount of people can enter the building. Make sure to book an appointment since Choi fills up quickly! I'm usually pretty picky with how my hair is cut, especially since Asian hair can be tricky to cut but Choi has always been able to cut my hair based on my facial shape and give me pointers on how to style my hair that is personalized to me. Plus Choi is always such a pleasure to converse with!

Choi is gifted at cutting hair and hair coloring and is an all around lovely person. She has an aura that instantly puts you at ease and she truly cares about her customers. I live in Chapel Hill, but only get my hair cut when I come home to NOVA because I won't let anyone else (but Choi) touch my hair. I got my hair cut during the pandemic, after Choi was allowed to reopen, and it was clear that Choi was meticulous about cleaning and making sure to stagger customers. Also, Choi's new place is just the right size, makes for an efficient haircut, and it doesn't lack any of the charm of her old place. In summary, go to Choi for haircuts and coloring...she is a gem!

I got my first hair cut in 13 years since I have alopecia universalis. Choi did an excellent job of cutting my hair and making sure it was a style I can enjoy and work with on a daily basis.

I am new to the Reston area and I'm VERY picky about who touches my hair and I'm so happy I chose Choi's. I have a tight schedule and she fit me in within an hour 1/2 after I called!! The place is very clean and organized and quite calming. Every stylist was gentle and so sweet. They gave me a great discount because I have a hereditary birth mark on my head that causes grey hair (I have dark hair so it shows) and they just covered that spot and didn't charge me full price for a root touch up!! If you are searching for a new place, this is your spot! I will definitely be coming back!! :)

This was the second time that Choi cut my hair. She listened to what I wanted and gave me the perfect cut. I was also able to walk in without an appointment and luckily was able to be taken.

Ms. Choi has been helping keep my whole family well groomed for over a decade. She provides friendly service, helpful styling advice, and also colors my hair. I cannot say enough good things about Choi's Hair Design.
