I came in today to withdraw from my savings account. I provided a filled out withdrawal form, ID and bank debit card. The teller took all 3 and asked me for my credit card and SNN. I was very confused why she kept asking me repeatedly for my credit and SNN. I did not appreciate her tone of voice. I will be withdrawing my money from here and taking it elsewhere.

Echo all the reviews here saying the tellers need to be retrained and learn how to interact professionally. I have gone in there and had another teller behind me looking at my information, gossiping about their child. I've had a teller say "sorry I only do deposits" while accepting someone right after me for something other than a deposit. Absolute chaos here. Navy Federal would never. I'll use another branch.

I've never experienced such unprofessionalism from not one but two tellers. It was supposed to be a simple trip to talk to a bank agent about an existing account. Tellers raising their voices to get the point across isn't appropriate. Luckily, no personal information was given out loud. Otherwise, that would have been a different issue. I dread having to go back to close the account in question to the bank at another bank with better-trained staff.

They didn't take good care of a 60-year-old man, they put him on a phone when there were Hispanic people there who could help and they didn't do it. What a shame they forgot that they are children of immigrants who came to this country thinking about them and now they are gone. He forgot all about where they come from.

Make sure you have a lot of hours if you need to talk to someone. You will be waiting! No one acknowledges you when you come in. The profesionalism is subpar to say the least. Banking overall is fine. But coming in this specific location is a nightmare, every single time.

I do not recommend this bank, the same Latinos do not help other Latinos, with a bad attitude I definitely do not recommend it

Super long wait times, employees have no clue what they are doing at all, over 30+ min wait for most people this morning.

I went to this branch to get a Medallion Certification stamp (kind of like a Notary) on a time sensitive financial document that was required because of the amount of money being moved ($400,000). What I encountered was the most rude, unhelpful, miserable branch officer I've ever encountered anywhere - and did I get the stamp on my document that I needed? Hell No, that miserable #@*% instead told me I needed to provide her with a statement of how much was in the source account - which I had in the form of a quarterly statement - but that wasn't good enough for her - BUT it was fine with the branch officer in their Chantilly branch where I ended up going the next day with the same compliment of documents. I'm sick of the absolute rotten stinking customer service - or better said, customer intimidation - I've experienced from this crappy, supposedly full-service bank, and I currently am in the process of closing my accounts and moving all of my transactions away from these power tripping dirtbags. (I have four accounts at Chevy Chase - all well funded) and away from this arrogant nasty group of egotists that serve as their branch officers - all on a stinking power head trip. I am moving everything over to USAA who treat people right, with respect and aren't caught up in some screwed up petty head trip power trip that seem pervasive throughout this cheesy, crap on your customer bank, Capital One. I wish I had done this years ago instead of dealing with these dirtbags. If you bank with these losers and live in NoVa, the Chantilly branch has competent, helpful and decent people - as for the rest, they could shut their branches all down and end up with better ratings. Very disgusted, had enough of their arrogant crap needlessly jerking customers around, and this time, I'm finally doing what I should've done years ago.

I wasn't really impressed with this bank, that my guy has. But after the last year or so, this bank has been incredibly helpful! The security is great! And this company does do its due diligence in making sure security of your account is maintained. The customer service people are very nice and helpful.

Banker named Jervon refused to assist with opening a new account for my newborn son. I have his SSN card and birth documentation along with a passport! All she did was roll her eyes as if I was wasting her time. She told me my son's mother also had to be present which is absolutely incorrect.I had close to $20,000 to deposit. I went down the street to Sandy Spring bank in Worldgate and they opened an account and got my business.I also overheard her refer to another customer using an outdated and racist term when she was in her office area. I'm not sure how that is acceptable behavior.

I had made an appointment the day before I had it and it seems that even if you make an appointment it doesn’t matter. It’s a first come first serve. They are so unorganized and I waited an hour, I am a very patient person but I was told that it would take them another half hour to help me. I had gotten to work late due to them, it would have been nice if they could have let me know, I wouldn’t have mind. If I could give them zero stars I would. Don’t waste your time. They were very rude, I had told them before I had to go to work in an hour and it didn’t seem to matter to them. I will be changing bank, you can never seem to get someone to help you.

Great staff, shoutout to Karyna especially! She helped me resolve so many issues that I didn't think could be solved. She helped with my immediate concerns and gave me advice for the future. Incredible service!

Hi,I visited your Herndon branch today to get some cash and there was a very heavily tinted vehicle sitting double-parked directly in front of the branch and right in front of the walk-up ATM. I went through your drive thru; I had to drive thru twice because the outermost drive thru teller did not function. That car loitering in front of the walk-up ATM was not a comforting site to see at all. No one was visible ; no one was even at the walk-up ATM when I drove past. Not good at all; certainly not typical ; it looked extremely shady. I felt unsafe just driving thru and I would have NEVER used the walk-up ATM with that situation. They apparently left their car after I drove past them. Bank branches should be very secure ; not loitering spots.
