I have been renting cars here for a few years. The woman at the front desk (gosh, I can't remember her name!) is so incredibly nice. She is very friendly and always makes the process very easy. They have always had a good selection of cars. It's so much easier than going to the airport to rent a car.

I Booked One car and they called me an hour before and said the car I booked is not available and left me no option to take some worst car with no cleaning.

Let's just say their motto "our only plan is to help you keep your plan" is completely bull crap. I took the shuttle here, which took 40 min to arrive. The drive was a horrible experience too. It was bumpy and the lights kept turning on and off. Once i got at the rental, it had a pretty big line. Which wasn't really bad. But what really got me mad when there was only one person behind the counter. Each person took 10-20 min trying to get the key. Then once I finally got to the first row of the line, the guy took a 15 break to go wipe cars. This was a horrible experience and I wouldn't recommend it. It's now 2:30 am and I still have got my car, even though I arrived at 12:00 am. Which was 30 min early then my original checking in time at 12:30 am. Again I don't recommend. If the comps reads this please get more workers to help out during the night, that way it would be faster and smoother for your customers.

The woman managing the store, or working at this time is extremely rude. She's answers the phone rudely, and is rude in store. She overcharges your card then blames the computer for the $700 charge on a $100 rental. I wouldn't recommend Avis to anyone after visiting this store, and the Avis in the Indianapolis airport. They'll have you prepay, then have nothing when you arrive. Getting a refund will take weeks or months. Go with anyone other than Avis or budget car rental.

I am a corporate customer, and have made several bookings here. This place is really good, if Martha is at the counter. Things get done fast. She is prompt and helpful. Never tries to make your life difficult. However, I went to pickup a car on May 14th Saturday at 11:30am, and there was this gentleman who said his name was John. This was the worst experience I have had in a while. 1. The person was rude, shouted at me when I asked for the slip to document damages on the vehicle before accepting the vehicle. 2. In addition he refused to mark genuine scratches on the vehicle, and said you record a video, I ain't documenting it. 3. When I asked for a different car in the same category this is what he said "You want to take that @ $127 per day, you think you can pay that much ?" I mean who talks to customers like this. 4. When I asked him why is being this rude, his response was, "Thank you" This is not the first time I have had a bad experience with this person who calls him self John. This person, always tries to make your life difficult. He will always try to stick you with one of their worse cars stating that the the car you want is reserved for some one else, when the other person has just reserved "a sedan" just like you did, and is not even there. Also, I noticed that this person is particularly rude to Hispanic and Indians. I have seen this on two occasions. The problem is this place is independently operated by TAMM Inc which is owned by Martha A Nevins. A genuine company operated AVIS center would never have such rude, condescending, disrespectful and racist employee. If Martha A Nevins is reading this : You have a great business running for 20 years, at a great location. Please don't allow employees like "John" ruin it. There is only upto a point people will put up with such behavior. [UPDATE] : The vehicle is now constantly flashing maintenance required within 6 hours of picking it up. I called to confirm my reservation for June. Lady who picked up the phone didn’t even listen and said call her back, she has a line in front of her. Like wow, is she doing me a favor or I’m giving them business by renting luxury vehicle . Too bad, you just lost a commercial account , it was all gonna be paid by my organization . After reading all the comments, it looks like lady at the counter is very rude to other people as well and comments are years old. That clearly tells me that budget does not care about fixing the issue for years.Wake up BUDGET!

The woman who works here is unbelievably rude! She will not wear a mask and will spit if you ask her to. The rest of us manage to do it, I don't know why she thinks she's so special. I asked her to please put on a mask so I could come inside. She refused and told me to stand outside and feeeze, it was about 20 degrees out. She wanted me to sign things, my hands were numb! She kept trying to breathe and spit at me. It's disgusting! So selfish.

Martha who works at the front desk is a logistics marvel. As a customer I loved seeing how she habitualized the administrative work at lightening speed while innovating when necessary to address customers needs. We were four customers returning cars at the same time and she had us all done in under 20 minutes. One customer seemed to have misplaced his phone in the car and she was handling his hysteria calmly while finishing the next customer. Lovely to see Martha in action. What a great experience!

The shuttle took forever and when we finally arrived to the rental center, the line in there took even longer. Not a happy customer!!!

Every thing went well until I went to return the vehicle. They have a huge cleaning fee. The lady gave me a hard time because of a little bit of mud. I had just returned from helping to bury my mom. We had a snow storm and my daughter some mud on the back of the front seat from her boots. I don't have a great vacuum cleaner to get it like she does. I guess I was supposed to take it to a gas station with a vacuum to have taken care of. I have rented cars and I clean out all the trash and a little mud has never been an issue. Has been 9 months but still upset at how she made me feel.
