My phone died and was 3 hours from home. Needed a ZFold but they had zero. Guy with glasses and peach fuzz got me a temporary Samsung FE. Totally messed my account up knowing I was in an emergency situation and in Richmond on business. Charged my account 2 lines and took away my promotion as I told him I was going to return this phone once I got back home and got my new Zfold. Very crooked and unscrupulous to get his commissions. Took hours to correct with Verizon customer service.Stay away from this store. Verizon itself is a nightmare anymore for anything. Never had these type problems w Sprint for 17 years before TMOBILE ruined them.

I woke up this morning to a dead SIM card in my phone. It took a little bit of Google Fu to diagnose the problem, and it was actually the customer support section of Verizon's website that helped me troubleshoot everything (so double kudos to you guys).Once in the store, a gentleman named Isaiah helped me with my phone, confirming the diagnosis as well as assuring me it would be a quick, simple fix. Within 10 minutes I had a brand new SIM card, a working phone, and it didn't cost me a dollar. These guys are absolute professionals and had me on my way in no time. I'll definitely come back to the Short Pump location for future needs.

Please avoid this Verizon store: Aa a loyal customer of over 20 years I have never had such a subpar customer service experience until I visited this store only needing an Esim activation on an otherwise useless iPhone. Wait at least 20 minutes before I was acknowledged and then to be told if I didn’t have an appointment I wouldn’t be helped. Staffed seemed to watch the clock more than wanting to help me reactivate my phone. Even had the nerve to suggest I go to another store. I will never return to this store ever again.

AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS. My father was trying to upgrade to a new plan/phone but keep his old number. The staff at this location were totally incompetent and unhelpful. They literally had him call the Verizon number in store and sit on the phone with them, and the problem went unresolved. They made an appointment for him to come back the next day, which he did, and then they still couldn't figure out what they were doing. So he still doesn't have a new phone and at this point we're probably going to switch providers all together. Sadly zero stars are not possible.

Terrible customer service. The store didn’t stand by what the employees told us in terms of a promotion. We were misinformed and they didn’t do anything to solve it.

I’m baffled at the wait time at this location, customer service was horrible, employees are disrespectful, and overall they aren’t there to help solve your issue. I will never return to this location again, and I hope nobody ever steps foot in this place again so they don’t have to go through this experience as I did today.

Terrible customer service!! Made my family and I wait hours just to tell us that they can’t help us and were very rude. Seemed like they had no intention to help us! If I could give them negative 1 starts I would! I will definitely be switching over to T-mobile and telling my friends about my terrible experience!!

The worst customer service. if i could give them no stars i would. dont bother buying a protection plan they'll tell you to kick rocks and call a third party company which will send you a phone through the mail. long wait times for absouletly no reason. they make you wait for hours just to tell you theres nothing you can do. This place is the DMV of phone companies. I truly dont understand how you hate people but get a job in customer service... I pray on this companies downfall.

The wait time in this store is utterly RIDICULOUS, ESPECIALLY when there's like 8 people working, and 5 of those 8 are standing around just talking to each other or just checking people in. Can they not service customers as well or are they more like a hostess, check you in and show you to your seat where you will wait for over an hour for a simple task.The first time I came to this location, when checking in, I let them know I was there to upgrade/purchase the new iPhone 15. After waiting about an hour and a half, it was finally my turn, only to be told they did not have the phone in stock at the store so I would have to order it. WHY DIDN'T THE PERSON THAT CHECKED ME IN TELL ME THAT FROM THE START?!Anyway, ordered the phone, guy says I have to come back to this location (which is far from me) to complete the trade in and that it wouldn't take long because I'd be just dropping off the phone. A LIE! Couple weeks later after getting off work, I get to the store at 5:30 to complete the trade in, person checking me says I can't do it because it's too close to 6pm and they close at 6. Ok fine. I go back again a few days later, let them know all I needed to do was drop the phone off for trade in, over a 2 hour wait, while 4 employees are standing in the back, laughing and talking to each other, not helping the 4 people in front of me. He saw I was getting ready to explode so he sent me a text with a link and said I could initiate the trade in myself. Get home, start that process, CAN"T COMPLETE because the process was started from within the store.On the phone with customer service as we speak because again, ridiculous amount of time I've wasted just to drop off a phone!

Store was very busy with only 3 workers. No public bathrooms at this location. Watches were not labeled or advertised well with information. My recommendation is to expect to be there 2 plus hours.
