Kolandra is very nice! She did my daughter's hair. She gave recommendations to improve the health of my daughter's hair. She does my sister in law hair too. My sister in law scheduled online and talked to Kolandra via text message prior to arrival and after we arrived. Due to COVID-19, walked my daughter to the front door upon arrival, Kolandra met me at the door and took my daughter to her studio salon. Mask required upon entering the salon plaza (building). When I had to pay, she let me swipe my card in her credit card device and then select the tip on her phone or tablet. The total cost posted to my account immediately.

Kolandra, Independent Stylist and Business Owner of Unforgettable Hair, is the epitome of a professional stylist with the client in mind. I've been utilizing her for hair care and eyebrow services since 2005, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. In fact, when I moved out of the state for over a year, I always found time to come back to RVA for my hair care needs, and we're talking over 600 miles, so that speaks volumes! The salon is in an intimate suite located inside Salon Plaza Fountain Square. She not only delivers healthy hair, recommending timely cuts and services, but also educates you on the products she is using (which are also available for purchase onsite), why they are beneficial to your hair, and also how to care for and maintain your hair for salon quality results at home/in between appointments. She utilizes online booking for appointments, which not only is convenient, but also allows you to track your services overtime and lists all pricing, which is payable by cash or credit onsite. Her work has also been featured in a few hair magazines. I am always pleased with my hair and receive compliments on how healthy it looks. In addition to having healthy hair, my favorite thing about Kolandra is that she values her time and yours. She does not overbook clients and offers each client a personalized appointment. For instance, when I go in for my appointments, she is always ready for me (no waiting to finish up with someone else) and keeps my schedule in mind. I can get a wash, blowout, and flatiron curls in 1 hour, which is AMAZING! Make your appointment and you will be so happy, trust me! Tell her Octavia referred you (from Yelp), as she also does referral discounts, which is a nice incentive.

Ms.Waltkins to me is the best barber in Richmond. She is very professional and caters to the needs of her customers. I have gone here for many years and I am always pleased with the outcome that I have. She takes the time to explain and listen to you to give you exactly what you want from your hair. Another plus is that she stocks and carries some products that she uses in your hair at the salon for one stop shopping. Her appointment times are always accurate and your not getting there having to wait around. Her salon is a cute and cozy place. I would highly recommend checking her out for your hair care needs.
