We had such a great experience that I wanted to drop in and leave a note. I've shopped here since high school so a hot minute and always loved when the girls were super into helping you pick out outfits just because or for an event. I come here before every big trip and always get a huge haul every time. Last few times the staff was fine but weren't jumping up to help and curating the perfect outfit for whatever you need it for. But this time, the Manager (sorry I never caught your name but w the beautiful emerald engagement ring) you were so sweet and enthused helping pick out ideas for our Portland trip. Besides the obvious amazing clothing options, that's what I always loved most about the store all these years. Y'all make it fun and super easy w the very best options. Thank you!! Also what do y'all spray that makes all the clothes smell soooo amazing?! I notice it every time when I'm packing and always forget to ask how the clothes smell so good!!

I love this store! I had not been there in a while, but went to get a gift for our kids' minister who was stepping down from her position. I found great styles for young people & some great sales too! I love it!

Kim is so helpful! I stumbled upon this cute little shop while walking around Short Pump. I had originally come with the hopes of finding a cute romper at Nordstrom but passed by this store on the way to Nordstrom. This store has a cute vibe, it's sort of beachy and laid back while also being girly and feminine. They had a sale rack for bathing suits and one for clothes, both had a great selection! When I went to try on my clothes, Kim brought other tank tops to try on with my outfits which made my experience a million times better, and easier! In addition, she brought a pair of coveralls that she thought i'd like. I really appreciate the customer service Kim provided me and my mom. I will definitely stop by next time i'm in the area and i'd highly recommend stopping by this store if looking for a cute outfit, or just want to browse around a cute store! Thank you Kim for making my experience a great one!

I have not been to the store in person, but I have called and had WONDERFUL full customer care. A dress was ordered from another location since it was no longer in stock in the Richmond store. The associate found the dress and it was sent within 4 days without a shipping fee!

Although I'm not generally a fan of malls, South Moon Under is one of the reasons I make an exception for Short Pump Town Center. I try to schedule my visits on weekdays when traffic isn't bad and crowds aren't thick - and the fact that Short Pump's an outdoor mall helps, too. But back to the reason for this review - clothes, jewelry, and accessories! South Moon Under is one of the boutiques on my regular rotation, and has maintained its spot for a few years now. It's a small chain, with locations in DC, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey, but with a personal, boutique-y feel. The shop carries everything from Free People to Ella Moss to Hudson to Frye to Ray Ban... the list could go on and on. It started off as a surf shop, so it still maintains that casual chic vibe carrying swimwear and fashion-forward casual attire. Yes, you can find the occasional dressier dress, but for the most part its everyday and party-wear (think a night out dancing with the girls rather than a black-tie wedding). I'm always captivated by the jewelry collections, with tons of affordable jewelry options (they also carry Nicole Richie's line House of Harlow!) and i almost always walk away with at least one new bracelet, ring, or pair of earrings. Aside from the fantastic merchandise, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Because I'm a frequent visitor, I typically see the same faces each time I shop and that's a comforting feeling. I have a fashion background, so I'm pretty particular with my purchases and I know what I like, what I don't, and what I'm looking for. I appreciate that the staff is helpful and available, but not overbearing. If you're looking for swimwear, surfwear, fashionable ensembles or accessories (from recognizable names), South Moon Under is definitely worth a stop.

SOUTH MOON UNDER , I LOVE IT! this store always has everything i want! lindsay the manager and sam who is a new girl are both SO awesome, all the other girls are too, the really take pride in their jobs and love to help you find things...sometimes its higher prices but everything i have gotten from there is quality and when someone compliments me the answer is always SOUTH MOON UNDER! i suggest you go here if youre into fashion and looking to be "hip" oh and when they DO have sales.... everything is a STEAL!
