I made purchases of children's shoes on a couple of occasions both before and since this business was purchased from the original family/owners that opened and built it up. There is now a difference in the service than what I received than in the past. I know service can be hit or miss at the department stores that sell shoes, even the higher end ones, but I had always got more from this store. Unfortunately, I have found this happens too often when a business is bought out. Just not worth the trip anymore.

In response to the negative comment about Miss Betty I would like to say that Miss Betty is the absolute best. If she wouldn’t sell you a shoe than it wasn’t the proper fit. She knows EXACTLY what she is doing.Miss Betty has been helping my kids since they were babies. And even though they are now in the mens department, they still go straight to the kids department to see if she can help. She’s probably the reason my son’s are shoe fanatics!She is one of the most loving and caring people and I’m sorry you didn’t feel that warmth from her. But Miss Betty is 10 stars definitely not 2 in our book!

Was sent the wrong shoe. I paid for a more expensive shoe, and was sent a cheaper style and because no other customer called in saying they got the wrong show they wont help me. I was over charged and now the shoe i bought is out of stock. Oh also they have one person only who deals with online orders so good luck with needing help

Yesterday I took my 8 yr old granddaughter to shop for “dressy” shoes. Entering the Kids room, there was one other customer with one child and shortly after we entered another customer with 2 children entered. There was no one there to wait on us though we did the “online waitlist” and still waited for another 15-20 mins. I finally went to the front desk to ask for assistance, returned to the kids room and waited another 15 mins. Finally two ladies arrived and unfortunately my granddaughter and I had Bettye help us. She was one of the most rude, moody, resentful individuals I’ve ever experienced in customer service. She never smiled, snapped at my shy granddaughter and because my granddaughter has a very narrow foot, Bettye refused to sell us any shoes and insisted that she could not help us. So we left and went to Dillard where we have a lovely experience with Angelina who sold us the shoes my granddaughter chose that are a bit too wide but the proper length that will only be worn occasionally. This is the second time I’ve taken a grandchild to Saxon only to endure grouchy customer service. Never again.

I've been a customer for decades(since my now adult kids were taking their first steps). I rarely go much these days but I'm glad I stopped this weekend. I found a great pair of shoes on sale. The gentleman working in the Men's section on Sunday was great. Super friendly and quick service. He also shared some advice on other brands I hadn't considered. There was a woman working in the women/ kids section who seemed overwhelmed by a large family. I know stores are struggling to find help these days.

Took the better half to get some Dansko’s and couldn’t be happier with the service. Amanda took the time to explain all the different types and brought out a bunch for her to try on. She was patient, friendly, knowledgeable, professional and made the shoe buying experience a pleasant one. Thank you, Amanda!

This place is really the only one you can get your child's foot measured well. But the service is awful. The staff isn't very warm to children, the check in system is flawed and you're often skipped. For adults the staff is dismissive and walks past you while you need help.

After spending a half hour in the children’s section we approached an associate for assistance only to be told that we needed to sign in. We were 4th on the list. One hour later we were finally helped.When we walked into the store it would have been nice to have been greeted and explained what to do.

5 Stars! A+.What a great shoe store with lots of styles. And they had my size!!!After muddled experiences elsewhere, I was so happy to find Saxon's. Clean, bright, organized, helpful, friendly!I can't say enough nice things about them!

Amazing customer service and quality products. Sorry I didn't a pic of the new shoe out of the box...they were super cute! I visited the store to grab nursing clogs. It would have been great to know what feaux letter options were available?

First time here! Excellent customer service. A very large selection of shoes and I like how they categorize shoes by brand. They are having a great sale during this time of the year. This store is on the outside of the mall...near Macy's! Go check them out!

I went today shortly after noon with my daughter to pick out some fun crocks. I easily could’ve purchased some online but wanted someone to fit my daughter.The experience started off poor and never got better. Nobody greeted us even though 3 employees were standing around watching us come in.Nobody was there to assist us in the kids section, so I did my best to fit her myself.After finally figuring out what size looked right, we went to the counter to which the experience really fell off. The only employee at the front desk made it seem like we were an inconvenience to be there. Never smiled once. Asked who my sales associate was, to which I responded “nobody was there to help”She didn’t skip a beat and continued to asking for my phone number. After spending 35% more than I expected (after looking online) I left without any type of “thanks for coming” or even “have a nice day”I’d compare this experience to a 2nd hand store, not a high end Short Pump retail store. I liked Saxon Shoes better when they had quality service to back the quality shoes

A woman associate accused my 2 year old daughter of stealing a display shoe when we walked out with a toy in her hand that she had walked in with... She actually chased after us and looked very silly and rude after she realized the critical mistake she made. I used to come here as a kid but it’s gone down hill completely.

Great shoes but every time I go in there, whether they’re crowded or not, I have to wait at least 30 to 45 minutes to get an associate to bring me the shoes I would like to try on. Today I decided to give them another try. They were crowded with 3 visible employees. One working the register and 2 waiting on customers. I looked around and found 3 pairs of shoes I wanted to try on. I waited about 40 minutes while they finished with the other customers. As soon as one clerk finished, he immediately went over to help another woman who walked in after me.he had made eye contact with me several times and told me he’d be with me in a few minutes. I’m done with them even though I wear mostly Birkenstocks and have bought a few thousand dollars worth of shoes from them over the years.
