We had a wonderful experience at Ourisman Preowned Toyota of Richmond. Chris was extremely responsive and helped us select the right vehicle. Sally was so friendly and walked us through the paperwork, and Kris made sure all our questions were answered as we finalized the purchase. You have an awesome team - keep up the great work!!

Had a great overall experience with the dealership. Was from out of state, and they had all the paperwork ready to go upon my arrival, along with my out the door price that we had agreed to. Terrance was a great salesman to work with as well!

I got an appraisal for my car at every dealership in Richmond and this is the only dealership that I genuinely felt my best interest was accounted for. My sale with the manager Chris was was honest, quick, and simple. No low-balling, no lying tactics, no manipulation - all of which I dealt with at other dealerships. I highly recommend this place!

I visited this dealership on Saturday, August 3rd and would like to recap my experience with the team. My fiancé and I worked with Tyler in the Sales Department to test drive/run numbers for a vehicle I was interested in trading in my current car for. Tyler was eager to assist us and was overall very friendly and knowledgeable. Due to the logistics of my trade in, the team needed to wait until Monday 8/5 to confirm if my current finance company would comply. I made it very clear to Tyler and Chris that I did not want my credit ran until Mazda Financial confirmed we could execute the trade in and wanted to be in person to run the numbers to see if I wanted to proceed. Tyler handed me paperwork to fill out to take a "proactive approach" should we decide to move forward on Monday, but reassured me that nothing would be done until I returned to the dealership. I did not hear from the team but did receive an email at 2:42pm that I had a new hard inquiry on my credit report. Tyler then proceeded to call me back to back wanting to speak since he had an "update". Long story short- they ran my credit at two credit unions without my consent and before speaking with me to see if I wanted to actually move forward with purchasing a vehicle. Tyler tried to say that my fiancé provided consent via text that I wanted to move forward- that is not true, he simply stated that we would be available to come to the dealership around 6pm and we received notice that my current finance company would honor the trade in. Chris (I believe Tyler's manager but unsure) called me to apologize and said that it was part of their process. He dismissed my concerns and I ultimately told him that I did not want to do business with this dealership, and to NOT run my credit again. I later received two additional emails (Monday evening and Tuesday morning) that I had two more hard inquiries on my credit. Called Tyler and he said it was "not his fault" and that his manager "took it upon himself" to inquire with additional credit unions regarding better interest rates. It has been two days and I have not received a phone call back from Tyler's manager (which was promised to me on Tuesday). There is a complete lack of transparency and communication with the team at Ourisman Toyota. Every teammate that I spoke with was trying to pin the situation on another teammate, saying it was not their fault. In hindsight, I should have trusted my gut and refused to fill out paper work. Tyler's so called "proactive approach" has caused me 4 hard inquiries on my credit score and a wasted weekend of working with a team that wanted to make a quick sale. This is disheartening as a first time car buyer (I have only leased) and tainted my experience with Toyota. I plan to take a break from vehicle searching, but will make sure to stay away from gimmicky sales teams that make false promises.

Overall I didn’t have the greatest experience. Has a first time car buyer there were a lot of things I simply did not know. Part of my experience can be attributed to my lack of knowledge. Throughout the process I felt as if I was being taken advantage of and no one tried to do anything more to make my experience more pleasant. For reference my salesman was Tyler Crosier. Granted there were effort it felt a tad disingenuous. Considering now finding out that inquired about the same car I had purchased on the same date for a much less than what I had purchased it for. I asked several times throughout the process about extended warranty and was told the warranty was the one given with purchase the 3 month one. Only to find out at the end with finance that there were warranties, which was annoying because I would have budgeted/finance for it, if I had known and lead me to be unable to purchase at the time. Lastly, I needed new hubcaps on my car. A nice gentleman did say we have these extra hubcaps for your car and said that I can take and have someone else put them on. Considering that I was still billed for the hubcaps and I am single women who is not from this area. I now have to find someone to put on my hubcaps and it would have nice if someone would have taken the liberty to do so.
With all of this being said if you are a first time car-buyer. I highly encourage you to have someone with you. Has the process can be intimidating and daunting. Make sure you do your research and do not be afraid to speak up for yourself and ask questions.

Chris assisted me with my recent purchase, he was very attentive and answered all my questions. If you are in the market for a new vehicle, go see Chris! Tim in the finance was very helpful and explained everything throughly.

Didn't wanted to haggle and few times I got the run-around. Sales process was long and tiresome. I would think twice before buying from there again. The Manger is rude and needs to get his act together.
He did provided service AFTER I had to yell at him.

Got my Prius inspected today! Warning….wear your artic wear! It is absolutely FREEZING in the waiting area! McGeorge also used to complete a multipoint inspection and print out a three page list of suggested services. I don’t know if Ourisman did it because I got no suggestions that the vehicle needed anything done.

Warning!!! For those who've dealt with McGeorge Toyota: Since their acquisition by Ourisman, I recently had a state inspection and was stunned by the $70 charge for a pair of wiper blades, which their website lists at $29.99. The dealership has clearly changed, and not for the better. Be prepared for pricing discrepancies and a shift in service standards.

Richard was a huge reason I got a 2022 Toyota Corolla from this location. This was my first experience shopping for a car and Richard was so patient with me. He answered all of my questions and ensured I was satisfied. I never felt pressured, and that was my biggest worry. Instead, Richard informed me on the car and broke down the benefits which lead me to my final decision. The whole team is great, but shout out to Richard for his time and dedication.
