The furniture section seems an after thought. I used to appreciate the big selection that used to be at Regency and have bought a few pieces like a couch there. There was not much to offer in the small selection at this Macy's.

On March 6 I ordered a couch (online) from Macy's Furniture. The projected delivery date was 6 weeks. It is now May 31. It is now 12 weeks later and after two phone calls to customer service, the couch is still not in and may not be in for three more weeks! Terribly misleading and you won't even know it until it is too late! Shop elsewhere!

My wife and I were searching for dining room furniture after Ashley Furniture stiffed us on our set by not delivering as promised the day before...it was a HORRIBLE experience. However, when we walked into Macy's (I honestly didn't have much of a expectation since they are high in price for everything else), we came across their clearance section, they had a 7 piece dining set there. When I walked over to it, I was very surprised at the low price. It had been marked down 4 times and matched our home colors. I asked a guy for some assistance and he passed me off to a gentleman named Sangar. This man was pleasant, professional and soft spoken. He spent time talking with us and stated up front that due to the price being sold as is, the only way that we could get it is that we had to pick it up. He informed us that he would be there the next day if we came to get it and as he said, he was there. He got us a cart so that we could take the dining set out and we were extremely grateful for his time while assisting another customer. This is the type of customer service that I expect when I come to a store and he should be applauded for his efforts.

They're nice enough here but beware when you order furniture. They give you a date (January 2021) then the emails start coming that pushes the date further and further in the future. Mine has been moved 5 times and is now more than 6 months from the original DELIVERY date. I may find another couch in the meantime.

Monica was amazing! I had to order quite a bit of dinnerware from the warehouse as the location only had one of each item that I wanted. Through the whole process which ended up being about an hour or so she was so patient and kind. Not once did she seemed annoyed, if it was me behind that counter I probably would've been huffing and puffing. I would definitely recommend her for any of your kitchen and tableware inquires.

Management needs to give some thought to their decision to close ALL DRESSING rooms on the upper level except for the small, 5 stall one in the back corner of the store. All this did, was require every female needing a dressing room to wait in a long line, (at one point 12 people deep) while everyone is touching the same 5 doors and benches inside. There was no one attending the dressing room or wiping anything down in between customers and half the people weren't wearing masks. I personally am not concerned about catching Covid (though I wear a mask for the comfort of others), but this arrangement was so ridiculously absurd. Why make everyone wait 20 minutes for a dressing room (while being forced to listen to the absolutely awful music playing over the loudspeaker) just to use a heavily dirty room (clothes thrown all over the floor) that everyone had been touching? If you're not even going to bother to monitor or sanitize the rooms between customers, why close all the other dressing rooms???? If you just left the other rooms open, customers would be more spread out and not on top of each other touching all the same things. Where's the common sense, Macy's????

It's closed right now, but once this Covid 19 crap is hopefully squashed, it'll be business as usual. This store is hit or miss. I've bought my bed from here, and got a heckuva deal for an oak frame queen. The same goes for a lounge chair, which has provided years of duty to me and others. It depends when you go. Pricing is usually very competitive, but good luck haggling for a lower price. Macy's sticks to their prices, unlike a lot of other furniture retailers, that bite and where the employees are on commission. I personally like that business model, but some admittedly do not. How are the employees? Super. They know the products they are selling. I've found them to be very helpful, and also they made getting my bed frame a relatively easy process. Yet there are better competitors out there, and I find their mattresses to be marked rather high. For those go to a mattress store, and negotiate like a pit bull. I look forward to this store reopening, because if a item is on sale, expect it to be at a competitive cost. Quality is above average, and you won't be looking around non stop, to find an employee for assistance.

I suppose cluttered department stores are a thing now along with having with limited staff, granted it is the holidays, but this store seems very disorganized and messy in all departments.

customer service is very bad in Macy's you hardly see people Working in the service desk and if you do go to any service desk that someone is there all they want to do is open credit cards for people if they don't have any

What happened to Macy's?? I should've written this review 10+ years ago, but just kept hoping that the situation would improve. Alas, the store I knew and loved my entire life is no more! 1). The Quality of the majority of items in their store is garbage!! Unless you are shopping for a luxury brand (and they carry very few these days) stay away! 2) Customer Service is HORRIBLE!! I believe they have chosen to hire cheap labor that work at the only place that will hire them. But HELLO, at least hire people who speak ENGLISH!! It is the majority language in this country!! 3) The stores are never organized, often filthy and the bathrooms....don't get me started. It's like shopping at a street fair. 4). The setup of the stores...Keep up with the times, Macy's! Still putting clothes on rounders is sooooo 70's and 80's!! There you have it, the reason that I am done with shopping at this store. Good Bye Macy's, I will cherish the memory.

My experience has been horrendous. Purchased a mattress earlier this year and it was defective. This happened 2 more times. So 3 defective mattresses. Cannot get any decent help. No one to talk to except the customer service people who seem to be reading from a script. No one reached out to me about this. Unbelievable experience. Wish I had gone to a different place to buy a mattress after the 1st defective one.

You can't go wrong with Macys! And the store at Short Pump is excellent. Great selection in all departments and very friendly employees. I never hit the Short Pump mall without going to Macys!

We had an appointment to meet with a personal stylist but apparently it was her day off. I guess nobody checks this or they simply don't care. We were then paraded to a specific department and given a store clerk who splits time with handling the register to help, something we could have done anytime without an appointment. Debra was great in her attempt to help but the "My Stylist" program should definitely be forgotten about, at least that's what Macy's apparently decided for today.

This store should be closed down. I left a review and I received a response from the store manager who told me she has been working on getting this store cleaned for the past year. The reviews on this filth go way back to 2013, same complaints. You will be bit by carpet mites in the dressing rooms for sure. If you leave the store itching you better go to the dermatologist fast! The carpets have not been changed in years and are always filthy, no staff available that cares about service, and the buyer needs to go! If you see something advertised, do not bet it will be in the store. I guess they feel the population in the surrounding area do not deserve something better than a pig pen.

I was with a friend and looking around the beauty section just sampling different things and one employee came up to me several times to tell me that she could help me check out whenever i was ready. i then went to the mario badescu section to find a certain product i was looking for, the drying lotion. it's meant to dry pimples. when i went to buy it, that same employee came up and took the product out of my hands and got all up in my face to tell me that i didn't have acne so i shouldn't buy this product, and while i don't have acne, it's not for acne, it's for blemishes, which i do get a lot. she insisted that i don't get the product and wouldn't let me buy it. then she had the nerve to encourage me to buy another product, but i told her i wasn't interested. my friend was going to buy the mario badescu rose water spray and the employee asked her if she had ever bought it before, and even after she said yes, the lady asked if she knew how to use it and before she could respond, told her that it's not a toner and if she wanted a toner she should buy a much more expensive product that they "had just gotten in stock!" my friend said no, she just used it as a refreshing mist. the lady then tried to get her to buy the giant size of that product and she said no. after this, she took us to checkout and took 5 minutes looking for a sample for her. she then took the sample, rubbed it on our hands, and tried to get us to buy it. she finally got to buy her product and after spending 30 minutes with that woman, i went into urban outfitters to buy the drying lotion and was in and out in 3 minutes without any questioning from their employees.
