Introduction to Snooker
• Snooker is a cue sport played on a large rectangular table covered with green cloth, similar to billiards, but with its own unique rules and balls.
• It was invented in the 19th century by British officers in India and is now one of the most popular sports worldwide, especially in the UK, China, and Europe.
? Equipment
1. Snooker Table
• Standard size: 12 feet × 6 feet (3.6 m × 1.8 m).
• Has 6 pockets: four at the corners and two at the middle of the long sides.
2. Balls
• 15 red balls (1 point each).
• 6 colored balls:
• Yellow (2 points)
• Green (3 points)
• Brown (4 points)
• Blue (5 points)
• Pink (6 points)
• Black (7 points)
• 1 white ball (cue ball).
3. Cue Stick to strike the cue ball.
⚖️ Basic Rules
1. Starting the Game
Balls are placed in their specific spots, and play begins with the cue ball.
2. Scoring
• A player must first pot a red ball (1 point).
• Then they must pot a colored ball (2–7 points depending on the color).
• Colored balls are returned to their spots until all reds are cleared.
• After all reds are gone, the colored balls must be potted in order: yellow, green, brown, blue, pink, and finally black.
3. Fouls

“My Daughter and I had been to the Short Pump Mall and after spending hours in the mall came out and started my car and the low tire warning light came on we stopped to get gas and was going to check the air in the tires when an employee named Kara stopped and help without hesitation to check out all my tires for pressure with her own tire pressure gage and help with the tire that was the issue she even used her own quarters to fill my tire and even gave me the tire gauge to check my tire if needed too on our way home I was quite worried because we live in Williamsburg and just needed to make it home save and sound and I am blessed to say we did. Kara you definitely were our Guardian Angel Im blessed that this was the gas station we stopped at. You are truly a amazing person and I am so blessed for your kindness.
