Just another business that used to be excellent, no longer. Expired items on shelves (over 3 months) Non fresh produce with small selection Seafood not fresh If a business can't perform basic services, I wish they would just close their doors. At least they would have their dignity.

Honestly I love Kroger, I shop there all the time and when I need a cake for a celebration I order through them. However this particular time, I ordered a cakes for my husband surprise party and received a cake that looked to be decorated by a 5 year old. I tried to look past it and take a bite and it was rock hard & disgusting.

It's unbelievable the excuses employees make when they don't want to serve you. Today around 5:45PM, my husband and I were in Krogers 9000 staples Mill Road location shopping for lunch items for the upcoming week, so we decided to purchase deli meat packet (the all American pack), but unfortunately they were completely out. I asked for the All American packet. The deli attendant says and I quote" we're out". I asked if she could make one for me as I have times before. To my surprise the attendant then says, I'm here by myself and I don't know how to make it. In my mind I thought it was a joke and she would make it, but this women who works the deli says they are made by the morning shift workers and I don't know how to make it. In my mind I'm saying how do you not know how to make it you work this department. My husband goes to get someone in management, Neil who came to assist with the situation. I explained the deli attendants reply, his face was so priceless. It's only turkey, ham and chees, sure we'll make it for you. We got what we came for, but it's mind boggling what people say and do that makes no sine on any level and to think the meat packets are made in the morning and left out all day. Simply says a lot

No signage informing customers of a 2 day wait to cash a money order from Western Union. Nothing on website of WU. Waste of time. Went to Walmart, got money order cashed with no problem.

As usual for Kroger they only two open registers and big lines. But they push the self checkout, but since I don't work for Kroger, I have to wait.

This Kroger is amazing. The store always has everything we need, and great deals. The food is always fresh and delicious, and while their cashiers and employees are impeccable. The layout just has this charm that just makes the store seem even better. Overall, best grocery store ever.

Where to start if you like bruised and picked over produce use Kroger pick up! Using this feature was never my idea and my wife promised it would save time in our day but it's been the complete opposite. The last 3-4 times we have used this service the produce has been old or on its last leg and I guess the store uses this service to push it out instead of getting rude of it. On top of that after waiting for hours out last visit we arrive home to find out half the order didn't get fulfilled or was switched out for a brand we don't eat! Try explaining that to a three year old . I try not to be so critical with supermarkets main pool of employees being under 18 . But Kroger has lost my family's business I'll take my money to Sam's club or another store

The Kroger where WITHOUT FAIL on a weekend morning, there will be 3 personal shoppers in every aisle blocking you but only one checkout lane open. It makes NO SENSE. Also, never a bagger during peak times, even before COVID. You always have to bag your own groceries. Skip this place. Very poorly managed. This morning was the last straw. 20 minutes in line to check out. One lane open. Richmond is the land of unlimited grocery store options. After many years, I'm going to start examining some of those other options. Shame on me for waiting so long and for continuing to shop where the customer is not a priority.

Kroger was nice. It has your basic grocery items . Too bad they don't stock any konbucha . I guess they don't cater to us west coast hippies.

I would prefer 0 stars but not an option. NEVER GO HERE FOR PICK UP GROCERIES ORDERS. My order was placed at 2pm. My app notified me at 6:45pm it was ready for pick up. I arrived at the store at 6:59pm. It is not 9:02pm and I'm still waiting!! I called and spoke with a manager Curtis and he apologizes and says they've been overwhelmed with orders today. Tough s**** I've been overwhelmed working as a nurse in a pandemic. Ask me if I care about you being overwhelmed with your grocery orders. Unacceptable. Do not. I repeat. Do not ever go here to for pick up order of your groceries. I could have lapped the store 10 times by now and would have been done with my shopping. Stay tuned if I receive any type of compensation for this disgrace of a store.

This Kroger is truly amazing. It is more than just a big chain grocery store but has that neighborhood grocer feel to it. I've been going to this store for nearly three years. I've been going there through a celiac diagnosis, pregnancy, birth of a child, loss of husbands immune system, a global pandemic and new pet ownership. I can safely say that they are caring and open to special requests. Some of their employees know be by first name and greet me with a warm smile. There have been times when I've just missed a sale and they will honor it. There are more times than I care to admit that I have to do my two week shopping at 9pm because my hubs is sick and I gotta wait till the kids are down for the night. They don't usually have checkout lanes open at 11:30pm but will either open one for me or help me do the self checkout with a giant cart of groceries. No complaints from them either. Just support and laughter (with me not at me.) I will update this post with the names of the few employees who shine above the rest when I go in to get our groceries today. I also plan on letting the corporate office know that if they want a gold standard for all their stores, go here to find and copy it. We might be moving soon and as funny as it sounds, I'm sad I will have to leave my friendly and welcoming neighborhood grocery store. There's a chance we might even more 1-2 hours away but I'm seriously considering making trips here just to shop at this store. We shall see LOL.

I have visited this Kroger several times. Not once has been a good experience. I have encountered several employees who are rude, not helpful, and/or made inappropriate comments. Always a spill or sticky floors. Had a worker push a line of carts into me while I was pulling one off the end and it took skin off my foot - was told I shouldn't have stood right there... where you pick up carts... 4 chances was 3 too many. Ick. That said - I appreciate the workers who answered my questions. I understand how it has been a stressful time for essential workers and I respect them working through a tough time. And those kind people are the ones saving this review.
