I worked for this company and when I was Kathy and Eric about a patient hitting me and cussing at me they did nothing. This company does not care about their employees.

Assisting Hands Home Health Care takes the time to listen and identify your needs to give you or your loved one the care he or she needs. It was great to hear of some of the educational material they offer on Alzheimer's and Dementia care.

A few months ago we had a need to find companionship care for my dad who had been diagnosed with dementia. We had very specific requests and were on a tight time schedule. Cathy took the time to understand our specific needs and knew immediately the person she thought would be the best fit for the job. Darren W. arrived two days later and has exceeded our expectations. Darren keeps my dad active, engages him in daily tasks, helps ensure dad’s household and personal ‘chores’ are kept up and so much more. We appreciate him very much! His presence has reduced our stress levels and made such a difference in everyone’s lives. Thank you Assisting Hands and Darren for all you do for our family!

Assisting Hands is a great company. I've worked for them for i think a year now? They have be supportive always let you know youre doing a good job. I love working for such a caring hard working group of ppl. Cathie Hamlin is so easy to talk to I feel like ive known her my whole life. ???????

As an Occupational Therapist, I'm often working with clients who need a little more help at home with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, etc. in order to be safest as they age in place. Trusting your caregiver provider is so important, and knowing they stand for certain core values can enhance your trust and your experience when working with them. Eric, Cathy, and their staff all work diligently to serve their client's with kindness, compassion, integrity, and respect. I would highly recommend working with Assisting Hands if you or a loved one ever needs any caregiver assistance.

I have met with Eric several times since he has started the business and was very struck by the values and mission of the company.Kindness, Compassion, Integrity, Creativity and Accountability.When you are trying to decide on in home care isn't this what you would be looking for whether it be for your loved one or yourself? I know I would be.Eric is extremely passionate and has a heart for seniors. He has assembled a fabulous team to provide care that is so greatly needed.

I called them on a Monday morning, they came to my home on Monday afternoon, and started services on Tuesday. The caregiver they sent was professional, capable, and kind. But most importantly, she treated my dad with dignity and respect. And they never missed a visit. I love the fact that they don't have a minimum number of hours/visit. This made it so we could be flexible in scheduling care. I can't say enough good things about them, and I'm so glad we found their services.
