I absolutely love visiting every chance I get. Whenever family comes to visit I always bring them here to check out the local made goodies. The ladies here are all so wonderful. I'll never get tired of visiting and looking at all of the neat things.

Great little Cafe with all sorts of neat crafts and gifts. Limited menu, but well-prepared dishes. One of the best tomato soups ever.

If you’re looking for an interesting and Historic place to eat and buy unique hand made gifts, here it is! .. You do have to look a bit for the Tavern, as it sits back from the road ..so do look at the signage to discover it.You’ll be greeted by a group of warm active volunteers who graciously give their time and skills to keep this place thriving.. Inside you’ll be amazed by the varied talents represented here ..hand woven, knitted, quilted, works in Iron or wood , baked delights, jewelry, and more, are featured here! Additionally you’ll see a piece of local history as you walk in and around the Tavern. If you want something different and want your dollars to go to a worthy cause, why not shop and dine here.. I think you’ll be happy you did !It’s the kind of small town warm place to bring visiting family or guests.. sort of a secret place only “insiders “ would know about and now you do.It’s likely you’ll make a friend here and come back for more!Try it ! ..

The café is no secret to locals, because it is an all-volunteer force trying to keep this fabulous historic structure for the use of the local citizens--and if there was ever a wonderful "find," this is it! The food is all homemade, and it is some of the best I have found anywhere. The pies are homemade, the scones are homemade, the quiche is homemade! AND the SERVICE IS THE BEST! As usual I was running late for lunch--and they close for after lunch at 2:00 PM--I was the last customer for lunch on Thursday, December 3, 2020! SOMETIMES YOU GET VERY LUCKY! Thank you, Ladies, I will not be late again!

this is a great place if you're in the area lots of local arts and crafts and everything for blacksmithing to weaving to pottery. They also have a pretty nice little cafe with some very unique selections so it's well worth the time if you're coming by here.

My son and I love the tavern! The people who work there are mostly all volunteers. Everyone you meet there is so kind. All of the items for sale are made by local artists and some are even made right there at the tavern by the volunteers. We love to go to the blacksmiths barn and watch them make amazing things from junk metals. One of my sons favorite things to do at the tavern is to go upstairs and use the small weaving loom (he wants one for Christmas now
