I've been dealing with Piedmont Tire & Auto Haymarket & Gainesville since it's Grand Openings many years ago. John Filippone and his crew from the service counter to the guy that mops the floors are "Top Notch" in the automotive industry. I always request Master Tech Tony Baggette to work on my vehicles and John walks me back to Tony's station so that I can personally talk with Tony about my automotive issues. You wont find a better place for diagnosing and repairing automotive problems and I travel 45 to 50 miles to get there. I've also purchased tires over the years for all of my vehicles at Piedmont Tire because of the best prices. Piedmont Tire & Auto rules the automotive industry ! 5 Stars from me !

They said it was first come first serve for emissions checks and inspections on Sat. I got there when they opened at 0800. There were many other cars ahead of me because you can drop your car off the night before. That's not first come first serve.

Alex took great care of me a few months ago. I damaged one of my tires and didn't realize it until I was leaving for a 400 mile drive home. With just a phone call to Alex, I was all set. He was able to get the tires I needed installed that very same morning and I was safely on the road.
This morning I called for tires on a different vehicle and Alex was on vacation so I spoke to Kevin instead. I got the same incredible service! Kevin took the time to price out and recommend the best tires. I highly recommend Piedmont tire! Best service and great pricing!

Chill shop, Got my inspection here, passed it, like any good shop for auto maintenence and what not. Carry good tire brands too will be getting tires from them at some point eventually. they are definitely a decent shop I could trust them with my vehicles for simple stuff I can't do at home like an alignment, inspection, tires and what not. All I would need them for ps ALIGNMENT is perfect thank you guys God bless yall

We moved to Haymarket a year ago and discovered a top notch tire and auto care company >>Piedmont Tire & Auto. They even do yearly state inspections. John Filippone takes great care of his customers!

Absolutely above and beyond service! I can't say enough good things about Piedmont Tire & Auto. Because of my emergency situation, they managed to fit me in at the last minute, even though they were completely booked for two weeks. I was met with exceptional friendliness and accommodation from the moment I walked in. Scott, in particular, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process.
Scott's detailed explanations and continuous support were invaluable. His honesty and transparency were a breath of fresh air. The team's efficiency and the professional care my car received were truly commendable.
This experience was nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend Piedmont Tire & Auto to anyone needing reliable car service. I will gladly travel the distance to trust my car with them again. They have been great to us. If you ever have an issue they will definitely take care of it. They’ve done work on my 64 C10, Sprinter Vans, SUVs, cars… you name it. It’s the only place I’d take a vehicle.

I do most of my own work on my Nova but I needed an alignment. Brad at Piedmont understood the level of finesse I expect when someone else works on my car. He did a great job and made me feel at ease.

Everyone at Piedmont Tire and Auto are nice. Brad and Rodney are awesome and honest people and I feel confident every time in them to provide dependable and honest work. If you're looking for a place to be thorough and reliable then definitely come here. I love that they provide a shuttle service as well when needed, it definitely comes in handy if you need to get to and from while waiting for the work to get done.

Recently had a bad experience and reached out to the owner about bad business ethics. He’s understood to be well thought of in the community but wanted to share this message I received from him to let people know what they are dealing with. *marked out the foul language
*Updated to address owner reply below. My wife called with a turn signal problem. The lever wasn’t holding down and returning to regular. They said there would be no charge for the estimate. The estimate was $525. That was insane and we opted not to do the fix. At that point we were charged $112. After we were told no charge for the estimate. Also, NOT for a diagnostic test, the $112 test was for pulling the lever, as stated on the receipt. I did decline a refund today, my purpose of reaching out to the owner was to hopefully save future customers from unethical practices. My goal is to stop other people from getting screwed over, not the refund.
For those interested in more details of the conversation feel free to reach out as I have the entire thing saved and can expose this even more for what it is.
However it’s really pretty simple. Is this the kind of business you want to work with? The owner telling customers he is going to take their money and use it as toilet paper while thinking of their wife and 2-year-old daughter? It’s honestly that simple.
Additional Edit: Yep, John. Exactly correct. This is who you are. Right there in the message you sent about me and my family. Thanks for making that so clear to everyone.
Also just want to thank all the people who have reached out and been provided with the whole conversation between John and I and your thoughts and support on it! I know I still have some of you to get to and I will. A lot came through at once!
