Minnieland Heathcote is the best decision my family has made for my kids growth and development. Their fun and educational programs always keep my kids stimulated and wanting to go to school everyday. The teachers and staff are always friendly and engaging and constantly give us reassurance that we made the right decision.

Minnieland Review
Minnieland Academy @ Heathcote is one of the best preschool centers I have been apart of!
I have worked at different centers and I have had my children enrolled in different childcare facilities and none of them compare to Minnieland @ Heathcote!
The Director, Ms. Diane and the Assistant Director, Ms. Kristi, and all of the teachers treat my three children like family.
My youngest is currently in Toddler Explorers, she’s been attending this center since she was 3 months old. She loves coming to school to see Ms. Shahad in the mornings!
My middle child is in the Pre-School Explorer B classroom and she loves Ms. Jenny! Ms. Jenny has been at Minnieland for many years! She is always so kind and patient and I couldn’t think of a better two year old teacher than her! She does daily art with the kids and is always sending pictures on the app! The assistant teacher, Ms. Alexis is really amazing! She has so much energy and my daughter absolutely adores her! Every time she sees Ms. Alexis she runs to give her a big hug! Ms. Alexis is always interacting with the kids whether it’s running around with them on the playground or playing with them in the classroom.
My oldest is in Junior Kindergarten. Ms. Beth is the lead teacher and she is so great with teacher- child interaction. She is always sending pictures on the app and keeping me updated throughout his day! My son has learned so much at Minnieland, he knows how to write his name, both of his sisters names, the whole alphabet and his numbers, too!
Right after covid started, my son was in a different daycare facility where he did not thrive, as soon as I enrolled him back at Minnieland he was a different child. So much more happier and he started wanting to go to school everyday to see his teachers and friends!
I have to give a shout out to the PM supervisor, Ms. Casey! She has been a long time employee, she was my oldest child’s teacher last year. She is such a caring teacher! My son loved her class. She makes sure all the children are kind to their friends and learn their manners!
I have been working at this center since 2019 and I have really enjoyed my time here! During covid my family and I decided it was more beneficial for me to stay home, but once mandates were being lifted and it became safer to work I decided I wanted to go back to work. I interviewed at a few different centers in the Gainesville/ Haymarket area and some of them may have had more “bells and whistles” but you could just tell the teachers and staff members didn’t have the same caring attitude as the teachers at Minnieland.

My grandson attends Minnieland Academy in Haymaket Virginia. The teachers and staff are wonderful. They have a fun filled summer camp as well. I would definitely recommend Minnieland if you are looking for a fantastic daycare

We’ve entrusted Minnieland Heathcote with the early education of our two daughters, one of which has graduated from Minnieland and who is a gifted 3rd grader. Our other daughter is still in Minnieland Heathcote’s care and really loves her teachers and classroom. She comes home with fun stories everyday. The school staff and administration are top notch, helpful, and professional as they come. I can’t recommend this school enough as it has a family feel and is a safe and happy place for your children.

This school is wonderful. The teachers and staff at this school care about the children and provide a loving environment, and children get both outdoor time and lesson plans for indoor activities. Communication to the parents has been consistent, including emails and the use of an app to communicate updates throughout the day. They have periodic events which my child loves attending and they have good hours. I think this is a valuable experience for my child as their language and academic skills have really improved since joining this daycare. I highly recommend at least touring here if you are looking!

As new parents we were so anxious to send our baby to daycare. The team at Minnieland was so welcoming and put all our anxiety at ease. Not only do we love Minnieland, but we can tell our little one loves it too! Special shout out to Ms.Kat in the baby steps class, she is so caring and our little one is all smiles every morning when we drop her off. We couldn’t be happier and are excited for our future with Minnieland at Heathcote.

Unfortunately, I was warned about sending my children there with their history of run-ins with the law and unethical actions but I didn’t listen. The things I’ve witnessed from the employees, especially the director, were unacceptable. I wish I had listened. Don’t send your kids here.

We are so glad to have found this daycare. The staff and the teachers are friendly, the facility is bright and inviting. Our little one, who was deathly shy, calls it "happy place" and is adjusting well.

My oldest daughter started at Minnieland - Heathcote when she was 1.5 years old and is about to turn 5. We've absolutely loved our time at Minnieland and will keep her enrolled until she starts kindergarten. She loves her teachers and the staff so much and is always telling us all the fun things she's learning and doing. We started our youngest out right at 3 months and have had a phenomenal experience in the baby room too - I love getting to see how much fun she's having/the snuggles she's getting when I come for pick up. Highly recommend Minnieland - Heathcote!
