Geico is a scam. I WAS PAYING TOO MUCH FOR INSURANCE TILL I FOUND OUT YOU CAN DRIVE WITHOUT INSURANCE IN VIRGINIA, JUST PAY $500 uninsured motor vehicle fee in addition to normal registration fees at the DMV and you'll drive without having to worry about being penalized for not having minimum liability insurance in tne state of virginia

Only insurance that goes up and down month to month. Everyone I know has better insurance. They pay the same price every month. Geico trying to get every penny they can from anyone! Don't waste your time with Geico!

My vehicle was damaged by another vehicle while parked and I was not at fault.Geico did recover the money for the repairs but the additional costs that I had to recover, Geico would not represent me, I was told that I had to contact the other insurance company to get any reimbursements.I explained that the other company would not return my calls, but I was told that this is my problem, not theirs.Why do I have insurance with a company that will not represent me or help with a legitimate claim?To be told that this is my problem when I am am asking for is help?I have had it with this terrible customer service and I am going to shop around for a more reliable compay.

I didn't consent to getting called about quotes. I made SURE to NOT click the "call/text you about quotes?". Stop cold calling people.

Filled out their online form to get a quote, was only able to bundle auto and home, wanted to find out how much a landlord insurance would be, it's almost impossible to do that on their website. So reached out to their Haymarket office, was sent the same link to their website to redo everything again. I gave up. Got a call from someone in the office, so I asked about the landlord insurance, was told she'd get back to me. That was a week ago, still nothing. If they aren't even trying to earn my business, guess they must not want it.

I have never felt very disappointed in my life with such ridiculously miserable customer service from Geico. They don’t know how to act with their customers. They don’t respond to me when I call the person in charge of my claim or the supervisor of that person. It’s ridiculous that I have to be running after my person of contact with the Geico and my mechanic has to also keep calling with delayed response.It’s just ridiculous and I’m disappointed that I switched my insurance to Geico. For the first three weeks I have been talking to Geico more than I talk to my own parents. I spoke to multiple managers and supervisors with dead ends as if they are not even supervisors or managers and have the right to act upon their titles. I spoke to Allen shears a manager from the claims department yesterday and did not seem to help in any way shape or form or offer to help or was even interested in helping me as a customer. Today I got a call from Brandon Barton who is also a manager in the claims department and he couldn’t care less about me as a customer.

Our car got totalled in hit and run, we opened a claim right away, it's been over a week and we have not heard from anyone. Customer service means well, but they have no authority to make anything happen, adjuster does not respond, they do not care about customers.

Over all the insurance it’s alright. However, they lack efficiency. Multiple times it has happened that I called and they took care of the matter as I was told but then I got emails telling me that I still yet had to take care of the problem I called at first. In addition, to report a car accident you have wait close to a hour because the system want to force you to report it online. Why do they have customer service then? What a pain. Over most of the employees are helpful, respectful and do try help you out as much as they can.
