I sent a package to the wrong address and the person sent it back and usps sent it back again to the wrong address. It was at the post office for two days in Harrisonburg, i tried going both days to pick up the package because i needed to ship it to the right address and they didn’t even try helping. All the workers kept saying was “ it’s processing it’ll be delivered tomorrow “ instead of even checking or helping. Its been 11 days now and it’s going to be another 4 days before i get my package back to me. This office it terrible.

Dishonorable, no work ethics.Don’t bother paying extra for fast, on time, money back guarantee deliveryThey will just scan it on the day of expected delivery as “delivered” then come actually deliver it whenever it’s convenient to avoid the money back part and gas light you.

Shout out to Larry, who answered my call. Had some confusion with a missed delivery slip, but he helped sort it out.

Absolutely ridiculous. Called repeatedly for over an hour during business hours and no answer or answering machine.

They left my package inside my car in my driveway...10 feet from the door. Who does that? Isn't that illegal somehow?

Terrible attention added a photo of a discriminating person, she treated me badly and see her look I am very dissatisfied with her, the rest of the staff behaved very well instead she is racist in my last time I come to this office, I prefer to travel to Charlottesville

Never have I had a worse experience with mail delivery. When you pay for shipping, you would expect to receive your items in a timely manner. Received a notification that our package was out for delivery, and then that evening get another notification that a delivery attempt was made, which it was not, and that the customer requested the package to be held at the office, which we definitely would not have done when we literally paid for it to be delivered! So we go to the office to pick up our package, and apparently it’s no longer on hold and is being “delivered” again. This is very poor organization and overall awful service. I do not understand how there is so much confusion and lack of coordination between the employees. Wish we could avoid using USPS at all.

I'm tired of being told my address isn't real, or having packages 'go missing' when they're clearly sent to this store then shipped out to random places across the country. I've never had an issue with other mail carriers, but with this USPS I have one in three packages disappear. If I could leave negative stars I would.

This postal office is very poorly run. Management does not care what the delivery staff does once they leave the building with the community’s mail. Delivery drivers in my neighborhood will leave all of the mailboxes open and watch as mail flies away in the wind. Packages are frequently lost and management gets extremely defensive when you inform them of their mistakes. Management continuously blames COVID for their lack of ability to deliver mail. I had to deal with them previously at my past residence and mail wouldn’t come for days on end. Management informed me I didn’t have an assigned mailman so they only brought things when someone had time to make the extra delivery. This service has become a monopoly where they can poorly treat customers because there isn’t someone else to deliver mail

I prefer this post office even though it's not closest to my home. There is usually a short wait. The staff here is friendly, helpful, and informative. It has amazing customer service, and the line never lasts long.

I currently have two investigations open into where my packages and one even states it was disposed of! It's been 5 days, what's going on?

I live in a 5 apt/house and consistently find residents' packages left on the uncovered front stoop exposed to rain, snow, wind, theft, etc., rather than being placed inside the front door in the foyer. The entry door is one foot from where the packages are being dropped off and it is unlocked for easy access. Perhaps the carriers are not properly trained, perhaps this demonstrates ultimate laziness, but simple common sense would dictate deliveries should be made in accordance with how the carriers themselves would expect their own personal deliveries be made.
