The selection here is superb. I've only ever had two things that I was looking for not in stock and they were both pretty random things and I had them in no time. The staff is very knowledgeable when they are available. Sometimes they are very understaffed and it makes getting advice and checking out difficult at times. Overall great store with great employees.

Petco is NOT where the pets go. Tried to take in my sweet lab this morning for grooming. Once we had already made and came for the appointment they informed us they couldn’t take her due to a pain medication she is on. They were rude and snappy with me with informing me of this policy. I reviewed the website, and could not find where this information was accessible. They did not make policies accessible and were not friendly when telling me of this policy after I was already at the appointment.

hello so i went to petco on 12/20/23 and was looking for a pac-man frog and shelby helped me, she was very well educated on reptiles and i was very pleased with how helpful she was and had an amazing time getting the supplies i needed. i didn’t get the actual frog that day and i only got the cage substrate watering dish etc that day because i wanted to get everything i needed before getting the frog. i then went back 12/21/23 and was helped by sam who was again very helpful and i’m so thankful for him, he helped me get my frog and got me a discount on a heat lamp and uv light like an absolute goat. overall the staff is amazing and i’m a very happy customer, thank you guys.

My review is only for grooming. We brought our dogs in to be groomed by Courtney and she went above and beyond to make sure my pups we looking great. She was patient and had very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Courtney. This was our first time there and we definitely will be back for services with Courtney.

Please note — do not EVER take your dog here to get groomed!! The associate who answered the phone was short and cold on the phone, but nonetheless I overlooked it since they were able to accommodate a last minute walk in bath. I walked in the grooming department and was not greeted or regarded at all. Instead I was handed a pen and told to sign. Again, tried to brush this off and left. 2 minutes after leaving my fiancé got a call that my dog needed to be picked up due to him being ‘aggressive’ when they tried to cut his nails. My dog has never been aggressive after PLENTY of grooming appointments. It’s honestly sad to see how lazy and poor mannered both groomers were. It’s no wonder they were able to accommodate a walk in, they probably get no business. Super disappointed with my entire experience here. Petco get new groomers, you’re better off :)

FYI- Return policy requires a receipt even though they have their cashiers ask if you want a receipt. 1) The inability to look up purchases from a credit card is inexcusable for a modern large scale retailer. 2) If your employees ask if you want a receipt, they should be clear one is required for return, given it is standard practice among large retailers to have the ability to look up purchases if the credit card is required.

I’ve taken my dog here for grooming 4 times and haven’t gotten a good vibe from Brooke, the main groomer at all, but decided to keep giving her chances. Today was my last straw. My appointment was for 8:15AM and I arrived at around 7:55. There was another woman waiting by the door as well with her dog. When it was 8AM, I said we could probably go inside since they’re open and she said “No we can’t they’re ALWAYS late.” Sure enough, the manager and Brooke showed up at around 8:10. They both walked in and didn’t acknowledge us at all or apologize for opening the store late and being disrespectful of our time; just complained about the traffic loudly. When we got in the grooming area, Brooke was very short with me. I asked if we could do a haircut, since they had a lot of appointments available online the night before when I made it. She just said “I have two dogs back there and I don’t have time to do a haircut. Do you want to rebook?” I said no and just do the bath and trim. They later texted me saying my dog was ready for pick up. In the past, I’ve picked him up 1-2 hours hours later since I work full time and have to wait till I’m out of meetings, but this time they called and left a voicemail saying they were “out of kennels” and to pick him up now. When I got back, Brooke again was very short with me and rude. In the past, she’s made snide comments about his nails being too long/his hair too matted and it just felt very nasty since I bring him in for grooming once a month. It’s a shame that she’s so disrespectful. She does a good job with grooming, but it’s not worth it to deal with her attitude. I will find a kinder and more respectful groomer.

I scheduled an appointment online for my chiweenie for a bath, nails, and glands. However, it wasted 40 minutes of my day since they refused to care for her because of a medical issue. I have no problem with that but let that be known before scheduling appointments. After seeing how one groomer responded when the dog she was working on started to urinate was startling to see/hear. I called our vet who referred me to groomer that got my furbaby in quickly and did an awesome job even though she was aware of the medical conditions.

Went in for fish for my tank a few times and I love the variety of fish the service could be a little better always gotta have someone page for help in the department

cashier was negative. Everytime I come in to get worms for my little buddies the cashier is never positive. I do not know her name, she has half brown and half greenish hair. I now avoid getting my food here because of this issue.
