“This place has been a gem of the valley since I was a child. The store itself is nice, the (lack of) cleanliness however is hard to miss. A little poop here and there in a pet store is fairly normal, Id say, that isn't really the issue. It starts in the parking lot, cigarette butts and garbage everywhere, not a great first impression. The store was very busy when we visited, again, this place is a gem, a go-to for pet owners. Can't give it 5 stars due to the reasons listed.”

“We made numerous trips/visits to both the Harrisonburg and Winchester locations. We traveled over three hours to honor this establishment due to the professional and responsible care of their puppies and cleanliness of their facilities. We finally found a great fit for our family. Every time we visited, the staff was friendly, pens were clean, and all puppies were well taken care of, with water and food readily available in the puppies cages. Our purchase was a great experience and the staff and management went above and beyond to make sure our puppy was healthy and was going to a good home. It was a pleasant surprise to also receive the many after purchase care items, including pet insurance, free vet check, microchip, cage/toy/food, education, etc., Our puppy was vet checked, had all vaccines, and was well socialized. We had a great experience and recommend this establishment for your puppy selection. They care more than for the immediate sell of the puppy.”

“I have taken Diamond - a Great Pyranees - to Puppy school and Intermediate classes, with Mollie the trainer. She really understands dogs! She has helped me SO MUCH understand this really large puppy! He is 9 months old and weighs about 100 pounds! Her classes train each dog in the class at his own level. She is really good at working with problem behaviors in the dogs in the class, if there are any. And my big dog loves her, and behaves really well when she handles him.”

“The selection here is superb. I've only ever had two things that I was looking for not in stock and they were both pretty random things and I had them in no time. The staff is very knowledgeable when they are available. Sometimes they are very understaffed and it makes getting advice and checking out difficult at times. Overall great store with great employees.”
