Jathan Payne, One of the Most Honest and Intelligent Pharmacist in Harrisonburg VA.I met Him through My Dad for Who was a Physician of 60+ years & Pharmacist.He really Liked Jathan and Always told Me to go to Him if Hughes Pharmacy was closed. I have been a Customer and a Happy One for a Long time and will continue on.I love ALL the Staff for They are so Very Kind.

I came here because this seems to be the only compounding pharmacy in the area. (Which means they mix custom medications on site to fit doctors orders.) I needed a special solution that they made in the ER for me and none of the normal chain pharmacies could make it. They have a drive through which is great. They gave my dog a treat. A saw a sign that says they sell CBD oil. Seems like a good place.

We highly recommend Medicap. The pharmacist, Jathan, went above and beyond to help our family in a time of need. He made phone calls to doctors and communicated phenomenally with us in the process of figuring things out. We are so grateful for their care and knowledge. Very glad our town has this pharmacy and their caring staff!

Was referred here by my doctor, I was told when I arrived they could only fill 7 days instead of the whole prescription, then I was told I needed a preauthorization from my insurance carrier Anthem. I told them it was not true as I had been on the same prescription for 9 years and had already checked with my doctor and insurance carrier. I asked them to call and they refused. I had to take off work just to do business here because they close at 6pm, now I am losing more money as I have to go back to my doctor and ask them to send my prescription to another pharmacy. Needless to say, they were not friendly, helpful, they could care less about me or my health. I then went back to my doctor, they called here and told my doctor I was rude, all I did is ask them to fill my prescription and patiently waited until the manager said he would not fill it but for 7 days and that I would have to pay full price because insurance would not cover it.

Professional, friendly service by all staff that helped me. I was able to use online appointment calendar to get next day, Covid-19 rapid testing to meet travel requirements. Pharmacist Payne came out to my car to watch me administer the test and he returned to discuss the results, deliver documentation.

Worst customer service! A week later they cannot get prescriptionsCorrect, they cannot get delivery address correct and they total screwed up the billing. The pharmacist has the worst possible attitude and cannot manage staff. Tried to stay local but not with incompetence and indignation and no efforts to right a wrong! HorribleService!
