Everything went pretty good when I got to place car I reserved wasn't big enough so they give me upgrade I needed so all good until I returned car on sun realized I left my ear buds in car called mon after they opened told them where they was and they said they couldn't find them i know it was my fault for leaving them but I also know they was there

A couple of weeks ago I slid on some ice and did some minor damage to my bumper. I was so stressed out, thinking about the endless hours of phone calls. Enterprise on S Main made my experience so easy. Mason called me quickly after my claim was set up to schedule me, Jake made sure my rental was at the body shop on time, and Meshawn was so pleasant to speak on the phone with and answer any questions. The branch manager Jay has an incredible team! Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a rental.

My family needed to travel thru multiple states for a funeral. Calling ahead, they made it seem like all we would need to do is go in, pay, and sign for it. When we arrived, manager Jay Collins proceeded to gaslight us, saying we didn't meet any of the prerequisites to pay for the car--insisting that I could not pay and refused to run either my credit or my bank card. He insisted we provided him with a utility bill without a balance. Folks, I've never received a bill from any utility company telling me I didn't owe them money... have you? We left & went to the Enterprise on 250 in Waynesboro and they took good care of us (the difference between how we were treated between the two locations were night & day suggesting the issue lies in manager Collins).I cannot in good faith recommend Enterprise on 11 in Harrisonburg. Avoid at all costs. The emotional roller coaster of not knowing whether my family would make it to our grandmother's funeral was devastating at the time. I've contacted National, and until I can get confirmation that no one else will have to suffer what my family endured in our time of need, I will recommend friends & family to other franchises.

We make a reservation 3 months to rent an SUV. When I arrived at Enterprise it was the usual check in, we inspected with the customer service associate, went over the contact and everything looked to be in order. I started the vehicle and several malfunctions started to display. I first thought they would go away like the normal seat belt display. I drove it around the building and parked in a parking space in front of the building never leaving the parking lot.I called and talked to another representative at the same location and that representative came out and I explained to him about the several malfunctioning displays and the representative stated “Oh those we(as in Enterprise) took the SUV to the local dealership as it only had 6 thousand miles on it and we were to that the SUV was fine and all the malfunctioning displays were due to a bad sensor”The Representative assured me all the systems we functioning properly.I drove it home and the malfunctioning displays NEVER went away. I parked it then loaded it the next day for our trip out of town. Well the malfunctioning display NEVER stopped flashing the whole 5 hr trip and after being told all systems worked well the cruise Did Not Work.Display video posted next.When we arrived at our destination I called the Harrisonburg Enterprise and was told to call the local Enterprise at my destination to get a swap out. My destination after 4 days does not have any replacement vehicles.So I’m very unhappy with the Customer Service and the rental was not free and at this point it has not been resolved.

Worse service. Had reservation for over 2 weeks on full size car. They verified 4 days before my pick up and yet when I got there they did not have a full size. Then proceeded to tell me it is not their fault. So I would not use them if it is important because they are not reliable. The staff was also rude because I was upset. Would be zero stars it I could have put that.

Cheyenne and the other members of the team are great to work with. I booked a smaller car and they didn't have the inventory to upgrade (was during a busy period of bad weather), but she and her team went above and beyond. They called other locations, offered me a similar vehicle, and referred me to other resources to resolve the issue. Everyone on their team had a great attitude and didn't seem annoyed about it. This is a smaller location and can be very busy, but this team is extremely attentive to each customer even with a limited staff. I am extremely grateful for your help and professionalism. Thank you!

This has been the worst experience we reserved a full size SUV a month ago to go out of town for Easter. Rooms paid for SUV paid for but no SUV. I will do my best to make sure no one ever has to go thru this. The man was extremely unprofessional an did nothing to try an make it right on top of it will be 10 days before we can get our money back. George Payne should not have a job as a Manger because he does not handle business like one.

Don't even waste your time. reserved a car for 4 days, said they didnt have any cars when we showed up, then called us the next day and said they had a much smaller car, but since it was it was only a 3 day rental, the cost was double, scammers

Booked a car here a month ago to pick up today, showed up and the office is no longer there! No email notification, no one answering phone calls, not even a piece of paper on the door to tell people with reservations what to do. An overall horrible experience.

This is one of the worst rental car places I've been too. There is only 1 man running the entire office and he is very rude and very loud for no reason. I will never get a car from here and if you can help it I advise you to bot get one from here either. When I arrived there were people waiting to see if he had any available cars and he yelled at them and told them that without a reservation he couldn't help. Very very dissatisfied and will never return here.

I saw our perfect car, sitting on the lot when I arrived at 11 for our 11:30 pick up. I paid for this vehicle 4 weeks ago. Walked to the office door to see a sign that said they're closed, me clutching my reservation and my reminder to come Saturday 12th at 11:30. Called customer service and was treated rudely and basically told we're out of luck. Asked to speak to a supervisor, who was even ruder and said basically the same. After 30 minutes o back and forth, she said we could go to the airport location, over an hour away. They were open an had vehicles comparable to what we reserved, but she couldn't transfer the reservation, we'd have to pay again and wait 7-10 days for a refund. She told me it was my fault.... Excuse me? We had a reservation for 4 weeks, a confirmation and a reminder, no one called me or emailed me to say they would now be closed on our confirmed pick up date. She then put me on hold for over 55 minutes, during which time we started on our way to the airport location. She came back and said she was talking to the head of billing and they'd fix the charge and we wouldn't be charged the cancellation fee because it wasn't our fault (absolutely right, it was theirs!) and she had confirmed the airport location had a vehicle and did we want it, I told her we were on the way. She asked me to hold again while she wrapped things up. I was on hold for another 30 minutes, then she picked up and....disconnected the call. We arrived at the airport an hour away and went to the vacant Hertz counter. There was a note to call a Google voice number and the attendant would be right there. When she answered the phone she was rude, acted like we were bothering here and sighed that she'd be there in a minute. 10 minutes later, she arrived looking bothered and when I recounted the story said n one had called her and she had no vehicles. So thank you, Hertz for ruining the start of our getaway, for wasting my time, my fiance and child's time, for treating a 6 year loyal customer like trash and leaving my pocket emptier because I have to rent another car tomorrow and you're still holding my money hostage. Never again.9-18-20 UPDATESo after speaking with countless reps and being promised a full refund because they said should have known they were closed when my reservation and my reminder said Sat the 13th, Hertz withheld $100. Get ready to pony up Hertz, you'll be hearing from an attorney on our behalf.

I reserved a car couple days online, when I called the day I'm supposed to pick it up, they said they didn't have any... no one tried to called me or anything???? not to mention I had gotten in town and now without a car!!!!

I reserved an SUV from Hertz last week for my move tomorrow morning at 9:30 am. I received a call today at 3 pm telling me that they have no vehicles available except for an open bed truck, which won't work as we're expecting rain tomorrow. I asked why I wasn't told earlier, and they said that they just checked to see if they had rentals. I received email confirmation a week ago. I told them that they were putting me in a really difficult position, and they just said sorry and offered no solution or help. I would not recommend Hertz.

My son has been fighting with this company to get his deposit back for over a month!! He has went to his bank and filed action against them still getting the run around!! We will never use this company again and strongly suggest no one else does!!!
