Heartland staff excel in communication and flexibility. Both of my cats are spicy, but Heartland works with us to make sure our cats still get the same care as other kitties. My husband and I feel very safe putting our cats' wellbeing in Heartland Vet Clinic's care.

As always, counter staff so friendly, techs so helpful, and Dr. Arneson even took a moment to look at Thatcher for me even though I know he was the only vet available. Love this office!!!

Our pup Bandit was in excellent hands with Dr. Hunt. He is enjoying a fast recovery, and she put us on the right track with him.

This was my first visit after switching vets due to an awful experience. Dr. Arneson was amazing. Being the only vet currently on staff, I know that he is extremely busy but he did not rush the visit or seemed rushed at all. But it was an efficient visit as I was in/out and back home in half an hour, which was amazing for my very stressed cat. A+ care even with a shortage of staff. The separate cat lobby is also fantastic. Sir Brienne of Tarth says thank you Doc!

We came to Heartland when our former vet would not see our sick pet. Dr. Arneson stayed overtime and operated and called us late in the evening to let us know the surgery was done and our pet was now resting. This was years ago and now we trust our three dogs and two cats with them. We just had all 5 in there at once and because the staff show them love they are comfortable there and are relaxed and cooperate. They think it is spa day.

We and our dog Jax, have been established patients of Heartland for several years now. We have always been very pleased with the care he has received from the doctors and the staff. However this past Thursday I called about noon to see if they could possibly work him in because he had a rapidly progressing ear infection, i.e. ear very hot to touch, bright red inside, ear flap swollen and "mushy", holding head to the right and constantly scratching that ear. I was told by a gentleman at the front desk that they were very busy and he didn't think they could see him. I replied that he had a history of ear infections and the last time he had one the whole side of his face was swollen! He said that the earliest they could possibly see him would be Monday (four days away). I said "You're telling me that you can't see one of your own patients with an active, aggressive ear infection for four days? That's unacceptable!" He said he would go and ank the doctor. He came back and said "It's either Monday or the middle of August!" I swear that is what the man said! I hope it was his (poor) attempt at humor but I sincerely don't think it was. I said I would take neither. I would go somewhere else, and I hung up.
I immediately called another vet's office that I had heard good things about and they graciously and with concern, agreed to see Jax 2 1/2 hours later! And after going to them that afternoon and watching how they interacted with our boy, we will be going there from now on. Heartland has lost their "heart", and we will not be darkening their doors ever again. ?

So far so good with my pups ccl repair! The staff have been super friendly and very helpful. Dr. Arneson is very knowledgeable in his field and so far so good with lokis ccl repair. Just 2 days after surgery and he is already using his leg to get around. The vet techs have been very helpful in getting loki back to his normal silly self. Still a ways to go, but heartland has been great with him through this process

Spoke with Dr A on the phone regarding my sick dog and fortunately will never have to see him in person. This is the last person I would ever want taking care of any animal of mine. Hasn’t even laid eyes on my dog and is 90% sure it’s cancer. When asked if he could prescribe a medication I was told “I could but I’m booking 2 weeks out.” Glad I didn’t give a dime to this place.
