Having visited this church several times, the most notable thing that has stood out to me is that though it is a small fellowship, they seem to genuinely care for one another and for fellowship with God, in Jesus Christ.Set up in a traditional way, the teaching is straight from the Bible, and may either be by subject, or by section. Theologically, the teaching is Baptist in orientation, but I found it refreshingly direct, and faith building, while preserving grace and truth. Of the few times I attended, several different members of the church spoke, and although the lead pastor normally did speak often, he did not seem carry the entire meeting by himself. As for the music at the beginning and end of the teaching, it was not the most contemporary, but instead is mainly comprised of older hymns accompanied by a guitar or keyboard. The fellowship was also very encouraging, even on my first visit I was greeted warmly and felt as one of the family. They hold a monthly potluck and hymn sing on Sunday evening which I attended, and it felt similar to a meal with family.Bottom line, if you are looking for a church that has contemporary music and a hip service, where style is more important then fellowship and faith building, then maybe just take a look at this church. But if you are looking for a church where care for one another is of high value, and where you might be encouraged towards deeper devotion to Jesus Christ, then you found a very good place.
