The CVS front staff was wonderful but the pharmacy staff are rude and insensitive. I was visiting JMU for a conference and needed medication transferred to CVS. I called my doctor because she needed to write another script and call my home pharmacy to let them know. I called the CVS and they informed me what I needed to do which I did. My doctors office sent over the script and I went to the CVS to see if it was ready. I was told that they did not receive it, so I asked them if they could call my doctor's office and the staff member had a attitude and told me it was my responsibility to call not theirs and when I call I need to follow up. I walked off called my doctors office and was told they sent it at 10am and it was 11:30am. So I called CVS and the person on the phone informed me that they do see the script but can't fill it because it needs to be released from the home pharmacy. I was so upset because I was just told 6 minutes ago that they did not have it and the lady was rude and had an attitude. If she would have told me that information I would have called my home pharmacy and took care of that. Anyways, I called my pharmacy and in 2 minutes it was released and I called CVS back and was told it won't be ready until late that day. I will never use this pharmacy again if I am in Harrisonburg. Shame how customer service has went down so bad since COVID.

I had to transfer prescriptions to them because of my insurance. I've had to call numerous times and talk to many people over almost a week to get three scripts transferred. I've been disconnected, talked over, ignored, provided misinformation, given the run around and heard them blame everyone else for their mistakes and incompetence. No one seems to want to do their job very well and won't even look the number to another local pharmacy to call and get the transfers...even though it HAS to go through them. I've had to look up and get them the number three times. This has been a most frustrating experience and I STILL don't have my prescriptions. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone and if I wasn't being forced by my insurance company to use CVS I certainly wouldn't use them.

Rude staff said meds would be done yesterday well today after waiting there still not ready the pharmacy crew is very rude and nasty to costumers

The worst pharmacy!!!!! I got there at 2 when they was coming off of lunch. I ask if they had one of my meds in stock, and they said yes. I waited 40 minutes for them to tell me that they did not have one of my med, the same med I ask them about 40 minutes prior. Then was say we should have some in a week or so, like really you are trying to make your customers wait that long for med that they need that day. The worst thing is no apology or anything. Save your money and time and leave CVS. They do not care about you so why should you car about them because your just another number to them nothing more.

This is literally the worst CVS I have ever been to. No one has any idea what they are doing, no one communicated with each other, and it is just IMPOSSIBLE to refill a prescription. On hold for 20 minutes after going back and forth 6 different times with them trying to refill a prescription and they hung up on me without saying anything just for me to call back and they’re “closed”. So ridiculous, if you need immediate attention and it’s an emergency DO NOT go here or even if you need something so simple done, do not go here. Terrible.

I’m at the Harrisonburg Va CVS Martin Luther King location and had the pleasure to helped by Mr. Jonathan. He was awesome by walking me through using the CVS app, using my extra care bucks and making a purchase. He’s just a very genuine gentleman, he’s very kind and professional.
