Steph has made CrossFit Harrisonburg your one-stop-shop for all things health. They have a workout program for everyone: crossfit classes, Olympic lifting classes, yoga classes, boot camp classes, individual coaching, etc. Need help with your nutrition? They've got that too, with several nutrition coaches to choose from. Need supplements? Don't worry, Steph's got you. Want a measurement of your body fat? Duh, they can help with that. Literally, anything you may need in terms of health is here. Just talk to Steph.I've been here for a little over a year and can't say enough great things about it. If you've been on the fence because you feel that CrossFit is too intimidating, I promise it's not. The second you walk in, people are gonna talk to you (not me cause I'm shy but SOMEONE will), and when you don't show up to class, they're gonna ask about you. They have options to scale workouts that you can't quite get yet (I scale multiple per week, it's no biggie) and the intro with Steph is free so like, what do you have to lose here?

I joined a 28-Day Challenge focused not just on workouts and healthy habits but also on nutrition. For the past few years, I have been on an anti-diet journey, embracing concepts like intuitive eating. I joined the challenge because I wanted more info and guidance on how my meals and food could fuel my workouts, and how I could build lean muscle while losing some body fat--all without depriving myself. Through the challenge, I picked up some great tips and insights and made progress against my goals. It was super helpful to have the community support and to have the app to hold me accountable. My biggest achievement so far is that I'm doing it all, eating well and feeling satisfied, without lapsing into my old negative habits and patterns!

A couple weeks ago we finished a nutrition challenge. All the informative videos along with the great tips from all of those who joined the challenge made it very helpful through the 4 weeks and most importantly kept me accountable. Unfortunately I hurt my knee right before the challenge started therefore I was not able to work out as much as usually did ,but Steph reminded me that my work out was only 1 hr of the day and the rest 23 hours I could apply every thing else involving nutrition. The app has improved my eating habits I can say I definitely eat way more veggies now. I have been able to add healthy snacks between meals and added healthier habits to my everyday life . Can’t wait to get back to CrossFit workouts soon!

For one, this is by far my favorite gym I have ever been a part of! It’s a family and so, so supportive regardless of fitness level of place in life. The nutrition support focuses on holistic wellness and health while building on healthy nutrition habits! No calorie counting or restriction. ?

Don’t sleep on this gym!! Great people giving great coaching with great results!! I’ve been very impressed with the simple nourishment approach to nutrition. Anyone can tell you how, not many care enough to push you and help you along the way. Steph and the team are here to make a difference and do everyday!

I just completed a 28-day nutrition challenge with CFH and it went really well. No counting macros, no counting calories, and no point system, I have done them all. This one was freeing. Taking care of myself by eating better foods and getting quality sleep the last couple of weeks has helped me emotionally and mentally

Crossfit Harrisonburg has been my go to for many years now. I can balance my life with fitness, nutrition, and community with many of the amazing people that show up every day and share the same goal of living a healthy life. It's a must have, if CFH is not in your life, it should be!

CFH is the best place in town to improve and learn about fitness AND nutrition. Coach Steph has been a HUGE help with nutrition- she’s knowledgeable, relatable, and very encouraging. I just finished up a nutrition challenge through CFH backed by HSN and plan to continue working one-on-one with Steph. I’m so excited to see where this takes me!

Was here for the Mayhem & Massacre supporting my girlfriend and her team. The facility is excellent, setup beautifully for the competition, and the bathrooms were super clean (as a civilian enjoying the event, these were what I noticed the most). Hope to take part in future events here!

Steph was very helpful with guiding me with nutrition! I am thankful for her wisdom! She taught me how to fuel my body! She helped me to learn how to build muscle/strength and that eating enough is a key element in the process!I love exercise and it’s been a blessing to learn how to fuel well alongside exercise to have energy to enjoy life!Thanks Steph!

When I walked into CFH a couple years ago, I was pregnant and had NO CrossFit experience. I hadn’t even picked up a barbell. CFH worked with me to learn all the moves safely, while motivating me to want to get better. I was able to do CrossFit during my whole pregnancy. As the gym has evolved, more resources have been added such as nutrition and pre/ post-natal coaching. CFH is a great place to be, no matter where you are in life!

We moved to the area right at the beginning of lockdown and CFH became the first and only community we had in Harrisonburg during that time. It is truly much more than a gym, it has become family and we are so happy to have it!
