“There are some gems here, like a lot of local craft breweries, local restaurants, and local shops. Not very big but it looks better than it did a decade ago. A lot of the places have been renovated and don't look as dilapidated anymore. Walkable area, along with nightlife, and seasonal events.”

“I volunteered and fostered here last summer and had an amazing experience! All the volunteers and staff were super helpful and welcoming and I had a great experience. I fostered (and then foster failed) a cat Lucy and had a great experience doing so. They provided me with litter, food, a cat bed, litter box, toys, etc with no cost! After two months I decided to adopt my 12 year old girl (now 13!) and it was great! I am so happy to have had this experience, especially being able to adopt Lucy. She is truly amazing ❤️”
