I bought the screen protector that I was told would have free replacements if I brought it back to the AT&T store, or I could send it off and just pay the shipping. However, when I came to AT&T, they charged me for the screen protector replacement, and it was more than what it would've cost to have just paid the shipping to send it out myself.

Not really the type to write reviews but this experience was pretty bad. Went in to upgrade my boyfriend’s phone. The first time, the upgraded phone was shipped to us and was lost in shipping and he was still charged shipping costs, then told he would have to wait until the phone was deemed “lost” officially to get a new one. The SECOND time we went in, we worked with a nice enough rep but it was a complete mess. We spent close to an hour waiting to talk to someone and then spent the entire time on the phone with a rep at a call center somewhere. What’s the point of going in store? Nobody could figure out how to set up the new phone. The rep on the phone kept giving my boyfriend instructions as though he worked at AT&T. At one point, my boyfriend said “why am I getting these instructions, I have no idea what any of this means… I don’t work here! I feel like I should be getting paid for my work here at this point.” They then tried to charge my boyfriend shipping for a phone that was sitting in front of us on the table AND tax on the phone…. Which we had already paid on the lost phone and never been reimbursed for! Pretty pathetic and a huge ordeal for something that would take less than a half an hour at a Verizon store.

Setting up service was fast, but staff was a bit standoffish. The staff also didn’t seem to be very knowledgeable of all of AT&T’s offerings—we have a prepaid plan with a multi-line discount, and the worker flat out told me AT&T doesn’t offer a multi-line discount with prepaid (despite me already having exactly that). So I had to pull up AT&T’s website to show him and explain how the discount worked with their prepaid plans.While I was there, another couple came in to ask about cheaper plan options, but the staff member they spoke with wasn’t interested in looking at different options with them (switching from postpaid to prepaid, pricing out different deals, looking at a lower-usage plan). The worker simply told them that they already had the cheapest plan and would lose all their discounts if they switched without even looking at other plan options.

Are you guys hiring??!! If no, you all should get AT LEAST 6 new employees, the waiting time at this location is getting ridiculous! I've been visiting this location for the past three days and I haven't been able to talk to anybody.

I was hung up on by a clearly disgruntled and immature employee. I called this evening to understand how upgrading a device may affect my monthly bill. After interrupting me several times, and failing to answer my questions, I tried rephrasing one last time and was abruptly hung up on. Pretty funny when the Karens are not the customers, they are the employees. I think someone needs to come in and relieve her from her shift. When I opened my account 18 months ago, the staff in here was nice and welcoming. I wonder what happened...

Charlie made it an easy and quick switch to this provider and was able to upgrade my phone with no hassle and answer all our questions. He was a great help, friendly, and informative. Great employee experience and would suggest you ask for him if you happen to stop by.

I asked for options. Only given one and now I know it wasn't the best. Assured when purchasing that phone would be set up. Sent away twice for 1.5 hours while they set up phone. First time returned to a phone that had frozen but no one had noticed. Second time return, I was told their WiFi was down, it was stuck on an update and they couldn't finish. I asked to return phone, but was being charged $55 restock. Sent away with no working phone (was all afternoon) though I live 1 hour away. Told not their issue as setup was courtesy (not what I was told when purchasing). She laughed when I left. They told me to go to Best Buy but weren't sure if I'd be charged. I went to Best Buy.

Melissa assisted us getting our own plan and upgrading our phones. She was very helpful and answered every question that we had. They didn’t have the phone in stock so she was able to get us one ordered. Melissa was amazing to work with and I would recommend any one to go see her!

Great experience at the Harrisonburg AT&T store. All four associates were busy with customers and one other was waiting. Charlie treated me like I was the only customer in the store. Highly recommended!
