They gave me excellent company while my car was getting fixed to where it was impossible to be in a bad mood given the morning I had had. It’s always scary when a young girl has car issues by herself so far away from home and they really eased all my worries and took care of me. I couldn’t recommend Ferber’s more!!”

I dropped off my 2007 minivan for repair. The next day they called me with an estimate for the repair I requested. In their assessment they found a couple other minor problems and offered a no pressure quote to fix those things as well. I agreed to have all the repairs made and the van was ready for pickup the next day.
I appreciate the clear communication in plain words that I could understand. The quick turnaround to get the van back was very helpful. It's been a long time since this van has ran so good.”
“I took my car in because I thought the oil pump was going out. I knew ahead of time to expect a big repair bill. It turned out that it was just a leaking sensor and my total repair bill was $164.00. These folks are good, honest people! They could have gone ahead and replaced the oil pump and I wouldn't have known any different. I know where to go in the future when I need auto work done. “We were headed home to NJ from Williamsburg when we hit something on the highway not even an hour into the drive. We got a flat and needed a tow. We found Rick’s on google and called them to ask about a tire while we waited for the tow. They ordered it for us and told us it would be available in a few hours. “I got a flat on I-64 westbound exit 108b on my way to pick up a tropical smoothie. Since I bought Michelin from Discount Tire, I was able to get a free tow from the Michelin guarantee. Once I was at Discount Tire, they were able to determine that the tire was unrepairable, just as I had suspected. Fortunately, when I bought the tires there were five in the inventory, so when I experienced this flat there was exactly one left in the inventory to replace the misfortune. They had it done in less than an hour and a half. I'm still going to be scheduling an alignment that's going to cost me $275. I'm going to try to hold the city responsible for that. But thanks Discount Tire for getting me back on the road.”

“I engaged 301 Auto to mount and balance my new Goodyear Wrangler LT tires on my newly powder coated Ford F150 rims. They have touchless mounting equipment and road force balancing equipment. I could not be more pleased with the results. The wheel/tire assemblies are perfectly balanced, and there are no scratches on the rims.”
“Recently my family and I were traveling west on I 64 heading back home to Tennessee when our Mazda suddenly lost power. The car entered "limp mode" and we slowly navigated to the nearest exit. A quick Google search for an auto repair center brought up Mac's Tire Pros and Auto Repair in Troy. Though they were all booked up with appointments, they graciously made time to determine what was wrong (ignition coil), secure the part and make the repair. “My truck had a sudden grinding noise from front drive wheel. OEM dealer couldn't get me in to service center for 10-14 days. Called Ferber's, and they got me in next morning. Issue was debris wedged in the brake, they corrected issue quickly and I was only way. These folks are great.”
“I had a flat tire and had to drive on it. Thought my sidewalls were shot from that.
They said they'd check to see if it could be repaired...I was fully prepared to have to replace.
Turned out to have two punctures, one a wood screw don't know what put the other hole in it. Both repairable. Saved me from having to buy a tire. Charged me for one and a half patches...because it was only one tire/two holes.
I was in and out in about an hour and around $65 and had friendly conversation while waiting.”

“There are good people Cauthorne's Auto and Tire! I have a "well aged" 2011 328i - X-Drive BMW.... I'm sure this is a relatively obscure tire model (and unsurprisingly.... expensive to replace). My back left driver side "run flat tire" blew out on I-95 South on the way back from Northern Virginia to Richmond, VA... and I managed to "limp in" in spite of a huge gash that opened up in the tire for unknown reasons. Cauthorne's Auto and Tire (Ashland, VA) was able to find this relatively obscure tire and had me back up and running in only a couple days. The price Cauthorne's charged for the replacement tire and their cost of service was commendably fair and honest. It is refreshing to have experiences that confirm there are still good, fair, and honest people. (I even asked if it would make sense to go ahead replace both of the back tires... and Cauthorne's gave honest advice and said that all of my other tires looked to be in good shape and didn't think replacing any of the other tires was necessary at this time). Cauthorne's had impressively timely service.... it was a great experience overall!**** Also, thank you to the kind people (and especially the store manager) at Advanced Auto Parts - 307 S. Washington Hwy, Ashland, VA who were kind enough to give advice and recommend Cauthorne's Tire and Auto (1.3 miles away... just away on Rt 1).Conor Jones - October - 2023”
