We took our elderly mom today (12/24/23), to pick up her prescription Medication that she received a call at home that it was ready for pick up. We arrived to the pharmacy area to find out that it was not ready. We were told to wait for 30 minutes. This is a waste of a customer's time to wait around for 30 minutes for a medication Riteaid said it was ready. On top of that, I was in the pharmacy line behind mom and had two over the counter meds I wanted to pay for. When it was my turn to pay for these items, the counter pharmacy clerk young lady with long hair and glasses stated, could you pay for these at the front cashier? I responded well I am already in line. I asked her, you mean you can't pay for this here? She stated yes, you could. My thoughts are...why would you make a customer go to another line and wait some more? What difference does it make whether a customer pays at the front or at pharmacy checkout? Why so bureaucratic? What kind of customer service is this? Does this customer service deserve a 5 star? I think not. It is poor customer service!!!!

This store should honestly not be allowed to have a pharmacy, which is disappointing because there are not many available pharmacies in the Fox Hill/ Grandview area to choose from. The pharmacy is constantly late on filling prescriptions. They never answer the phone no matter how much you call. The pharmacy staff is rude and seems to be in constant chaos even with a full staff. The physical store is also poorly maintained with many empty shelves. I miss Walgreens.

If you are sick and need a prescription, good luck! This third world experience is the worst. Understaffed and can not keep up, I suggest folks try to get most of their prescriptions from mail order pharmacies.

They never answer the phone! I call non stop and when someone finally answers, I get put on hold for over 20 mins with no answer. I was in need of my pain medication after surgery. I called multiple times to the point they must of disconnected the phone or had it off the hook because then I kept getting busy dial tones and call didn't go through. This place is the worst!!! Switching to a new pharmacy.

I was in dire need and had to go to the Emergency Room because of withdrawal from the lack of meds that took so long I have done everything I know to do. Management needs to take action!

Close this place down to save us from a bad pharmacy. Don't answer phones. Then you come in and they tell you something sent in by doctor the day before not even entered and they are 10 days behind! Act like I'm putting them out that I'm sick. So waiting for them to fill or who knows when I'll get my medicine. Will be interesting to see how long I have to sit in this store while sick to get my stuff

The most inefficient pharmacy I have ever dealt with. You call to speak with someone they pick up & hang up vs just being upfront and honest about why they can't assist you right now. No call backs offered, just straight disconnect. Then the last time I went to get my RX filled I was told it would be done at 5pm, I showed up & was told that the employee was new & my prescription actually hasn't even been placed for fill.... Then I call my Dr only to find out she sent it not once but twice & asked me to call her when I got to the pharmacy if there were any further issues. I get back to riteaid only to find out the employee was looking under refill vs new order. (Idk how any of this works, just going off what her coworker said). I'm not sure if this location is under manned & my intention isn't to dog them or to be rude.. my hope is that someone sees this & actually cares what people are dealing with. I'm asking for management to step up & make a positive change. If they need more training, give it to them. If they are facing hardship, talk to them. If they are short provide for them. Because your customers are suffering badly. It's beyond ridiculous.

Why every single time I use the Rite Aid of Foxhill do I have nothing but problems with something that seems so simple?! Last time they didn't tell me that it was going to take 3 days to get a prescription and my daughter was suffering with really severe poison ivy. This time they tell me that my children's prescriptions aren't ready bc they failed to ask for the correct information then yell at me for not giving it to them when I made sure to call and give them the information. We're hardly ever able to get through to the pharmacy on the phone. Tonight it took calling back numerous times over the course of 30 minutes to finally get someone to answer the phone. Then the person that answered was extremely rude as they are every time. I understand being busy. I don't understand being lazy and nasty.

The retail part of the store is wonderful, the staff is always friendly. The pharmacist, however, is rude and snippy. You go on or call because you have questions about a prescription. The woman I spoke to was impatient and rude. I explain I asking my questions because I didn't know enough about the drug prescribed or my options. She cut me off and was rude in her reply. I get they are understaffed and busy. But, I don't see the need for rudeness. I feel bad for the techs that have to work with her. Their work environment must be miserable.

I have used Rite Aid my entire adult life … about 3 years ago I moved to this area and started using this rite aid - I’m sad to say that I will be switching to cvs the pharmacy employees at this location are THE worst … absolutely rude. This has been on going for months now and after today I’m switching to cvs.

Yet I've been going to them for years. They're very careful and consistent. Always ask and answer questions that need to be asked and answered. Please be gracious to these folks ! Yes, they might be short staffed but these days who isn't ? Please slow down, be gracious and nice to these caring folks who are serving y'all ! This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. The staff is nice but incredibly slow and understaffed. There is no point in making an appointment for the COVID shot because I was waiting for 30 minutes just to get a my dose. Man was there before me and he waited an hour. So I'm just saying if you don't have plans for the day you can get your shot here

Terrible customer service in the pharmacy. Will never ever come back here to get a prescription. I have been up here twice to get my prenatals both times I have waited for over a hour to try and get them.
