Going to give a 5 star review based on the inventory and the kindness of the owner, I don’t mind the book mountains everywhere, it’s very unique. I will say this though, the leaky ceilings have caused mold, particularly in some off the “off limits” rooms. With that being said, I have never left this establishment without a headache, and I KNOW it’s from the mold. We love your store and your kindheartedness, but please tackle the mold issue !

Very thorough selection. When you walk in you get the feeling there is immense knowledge and a jewel to be found. There is a giddy feeling of exploration. You can detach from modern news and misinformation and escape into history for a bit. Safe space for information. Also the lovely gentleman who runs the store is a doll. He was so kind and let us peruse at our own pace. They accept card! Great selection of old text books.

Visited this Amazing time-capsule of a bookstore with friends last Friday! We were all blown away by this business. From start to finish, nothing was boring or normal. We purchased several treasures & will be sure to spread the word and return soon! Locals

If you come here, you will find more books than you can process, more than you can move around in, even more than you can stand. Heaven on earth for nonfiction lovers like me.

I’ve found this wonderful bookstore when stationed at Langley AFB. I now live in Falls Church, VA (DC area) and make time to drive down to this store. I’ve found nothing like this bookstore, the books are stacked literally floor-to-ceiling. In Addition to old books, the owner has a profound knowledge of the books. He told me about the history of the Authorship of the books I was purchasing thus giving me incentive to research more. Regardless of the small tight space, I would definitely recommend this bookstore!

The place has an incredible amount of books, but it's a VERY small space. If you are a larger person like myself or get overwhelmed easily, I don't recommend.

I have been in this area a number of years, but only stopped by this store recently. Glad I did. A huge inventory of used books. Great place to browse used books. History, military history, Virginia history, and more.

The owner was a delight to talk with. I love the place. If you can't find several books that appeal to you, then something is wrong with you.

I love this spot! It's a must-visit, definitely be careful not to knock over any stacks of books (I recommend not carrying a very large purse). It's great for browsing, and just for communing with the character of the books. :)The owner is very friendly and helpful as well!

This place is amazing. A new adventure every time you go.Be careful bringing backpacks in the store as you are likely to knock over a book this way.

Talk about stepping back in time to a great period in history. This store is amazing and has thousands of books and artifacts to choose from. It's truly an awesome place to spend time browsing and talking with the owner Charles. I love this place and find tons of new things in there every week when I visit. Thank you for this nostalgic shop! Prices are great and service is spectacular.

This is one of those increasingly rare bookstores that will reward you if you take some time to look. There is a lot of local and military history, but also just about everything else too, from old science fiction magazines to gorgeous like-new hardbacks, and if you go to the back there is a fantastic collection of art books and a chair and lamp for if you want to sit and read for a while. The proprietor will help you get to books in the stacks or on the top shelf.Ignore the reviewers who complain that it's disorganized. Poor things, they don't know how to look around, enjoy discovering hidden treasures, maybe even finding what they didn't know they were looking for.
