I had a 1:30 appointment and it was estimated to take three hours. At 4:30 I left my house because it says that they close at 5 pm and I called and they said my car would be done. My car came out of the garage at about 5:10 and around 5:35 I asked about it. The front desk lady said that it still needed calibrated and she had “no idea” how long this would take. I asked is it minutes or hours and she said she had no idea. Still sitting here and there are 5 other people still waiting.

Windshield looks great, I appreciate the job. The only thing that created a 4 star and not a 5 star, is that I made an assumption when the car would likely be done. So I just decided to get a ride to the establishment to check. I arrived, my car was already in the parking lot. I'm not sure when it was finished, but wasn't told via phone or email. The second, is about an hour after I arrived home, a technician called to say my car was ready for pick up. Not even knowing the vehicle had left the lot already. Great service, but I think communication among your staff would really have made this a 5 star. Regardless, thank you for your work, and would return if necessary.

The manager at this location told me he would call me back after I was quoted $400 less for a windshield replacement l. The manager never called me back like he said. The original repair tech was nice and the online support was extremely pleasant. Be careful.

0/10 recommend. Appointment was for 9:30 had to drop my car off the night before due to schedule issues. Called the next morning when they opened and they confirmed my car was there. I proceed to get a call at 11 that the car is finished. I show up at the location at 1:45 to pick up and pay my deductible and they don’t have any paperwork on my car, even though I have an email with service completion confirmation. Check the invoice that was sent and there was a mix up and I was sent paperwork for a different car. Come to find out the lock box was broken into (or they misplaced my key) and don’t have my key. They at first refused to work on getting me a new key. After several conversations with the manager he agreed to call a locksmith. However my car is key less entry/start so a key wouldn’t fix my issue. They then agreed to have a fob made at Toyota dealership Hampton, however the car needs to be at the dealership for a key to be made which required a tow. The manager again refused to pay for the tow. Again after several conversations and a call to safelite corporate, a tow and the key fob will be paid for by safelite (we shall see).I would 100% not recommend this location for service. Their front desk attendants are not accommodating, their manager (and district manager) are not taking responsibility, they do not have a secure lock box, and they have no cameras… PLUS they said it was their word against mine on me dropping the key off the night before, when I followed directions as received via email for drop off procedures.I will be taking my business elsewhere to have my windshield repaired as this location did absolutely nothing to repair my windshield. For a company that has such a good reputation, you’d think there’d be something done about this store considering the numerous horrible reviews left on this page.

They filled in a chip in the windshield, and it was still somewhat visible. After a few weeks, it was highly visible.Later, they replaced my windshield but left parts uninstalled on top of the car. They flew off when I drove down Mercury Blvd

They require appointment times which are more of a suggestion it seems. Paying almost a thousand dollars and had a set appointment yet after an hour my vehicle hasn’t been touched yet.855 am showtime for 9 am appointment. 1010 am car still in parking lot.1028 am vehicle finally pulled into garage for 9 am appointment.1145 vehicle was done. While driving away found glass shards in the interior. Please go elsewhere.

First let me start off saying that the young ladies working the counter were very nice and professional upon walking in but when it comes to a business and appointments what is the point of having appointments if you don't follow them or use them to get your customers in and out as scheduled. I took my car in for a simple recalibration since they couldn't get it calibrated the first time when I got my new windshield. I ended up sitting there for 1.5 hours after my scheduled appointment time before being seen. I definitely don't recommend going into the shop in but definitely recommend safelights repairs, warranty setup, and having the technician come to you that way it's quick, no hassle, and you and your car are the focus. Also the technician that did the calibration was very nice polite, explained the process, and did an outstanding job.

Very disappointing! We had our windshield replaced this past Saturday and noticed that the seal was warped. We tried to call Safelite we were unable to get a person on the phone despite going through the prompts several times.. We were able to schedule someone to come out today and look at it today. Prior to the appointment we received a call stating that they would NOT be sending someone out. The lady on the phone was extremely rude. We asked to speak to a manager and she said "Sure, he is listening to this phone call already. They said the warping was already there and that the tech took pictures of before and after. We asked to have them email pictures of our vehicle to us and they said no but we could drive to the location and view them. We do not recall the warping being the case and he did not mention it at the time of installation. That would have been nice to know. We were told that it was our vehicle and we should have known. If we knew so much about windshields I guess we could have done the work ourselves?! We paid almost $700 for this service. We be not going back there. It would have been nice to have been made aware of this at the time of installation. I will pass along my experience to whoever is thinking about using this location.

Extremely disappointed in this location. I had a claim through my insurance and after waiting 6+ weeks for the part to “come in” they cancelled my claim and didn’t even bother to contact me. Extreme lack of professionalism all around. I called my insurance and explained what happened. We found the Williamsburg location and they were able to get me in in less than a week. Still not sure how the part has been on “back order” for one store but not another.Save your energy and just go to the Williamsburg location!

I have a bad experience everytime I have to go to this particular safelite. The last visit they told me they couldn't fix my window because of an indicator light for my pre-collision camera, so I rescheduled for after I got the code fixed(a week later). Then they called the morning of my appointment and told me that one of my windows were not in their warehouse. This is the second time I've had a situation of this type occur there. One time I went there, the receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. And I think it's a tragedy that this is the place that my insurance company(ies) recommend.

Horrible customer service from the front desk clerk. Was scheduled for a drop off and pick up to have windshield replaced. Before leaving after dropping off, one of the technicians pulled the car in to the bay. We asked him if we should wait. He said there’s no telling how long it would be, because their windshield calibration machine was “down”. He said the front office would call once the car was ready. 10 minutes before they closed we get a phone call from the VERY unprofessional front desk clerk saying we needed to come pick up our car before they closed. We told her we never got a phone call saying it was ready. She said “oh we don’t make phone calls to let you know, it’s up to you”. Like, excuse me???? Totally unprofessional and rude while on the phone. Apparently I’m not the first person to notice this based on other reviews either….

4⭐️We had to get our windshield replaced, went through our insurance. I had no issues with our appointment at all. Appt was at 130p, our car was done by 230-240p, so only about an hour to replace the windshield. I believe they had told me it would take 2hrs, so this was a good surprise. We’ve used them before to fix cracks, and I’ve never had any issues. I would recommend them to others.

I was just at this location yesterday. Windshield cracked on Friday and had an appointment through USAA Monday.I had a repair done. My appointment was 3:30. I showed up early and they took my keys and had me in and out in a total of about 20 minutes including a windshield wiper swap. Technician was kind, responsive, and respectful. Would visit again, but hopefully won’t need to!

The tech who replaced my windshield did a great job! The work seems good and there’s no traces of anything having been done in terms of visible damage, stains, etc. on the vehicle. The only room for improvement is that one of the receptionists, a red-haired lady others have complained about, was unhelpful when asked about billing — and that’s presumably one of her jobs.I’d also suggest management improve the quality of their responses to reviews. It’s not helpful to thank people especially for negative reviews. We want to know what steps managers will take to improve or to fix identified problems. It suggests they’re not paying attention if managers just provide stock replies to all sorts of reviews.
