Don't go here. The service quality, price, and friendliness of the staff are not good. I've gone here a few times for service on my Nissan, the first time for getting my spark plugs replaced. The guy who did the repair botched the repair and caused me to have to get an Uber home (20 miles). He was very unsympathetic about leaving me stranded with a vehicle without a working engine. The manager, Glen apologized when I came in the next day, fixed the car, and gave me two free oil change cards, which I used for my two cars.
I forgave the first experience and came back for work on my rear brake drums because they were making noise and shaking when braking. The shaking seemed to come from all over the car and I couldn't narrow down the culprit area, but I guessed it came from the rear drums, so I got those repaired. Later, when I came back to get the front brakes and control arm checked because the shaking was still very prevalent, the manager Glen got snappy with me and accused me of not giving him a proper assessment of my car... Excuse me? You're the mechanic, not me! A mechanic worth their salt checks everything and test drives the car to make sure their work is finished. I could tell they didn't do that.
Precision Tune Auto Care gets a lot of people on a daily basis and I think they are overwhelmed often, so I sympathize with that and show mercy there. I know the staff is overworked, but that doesn't give them the excuse to be rude, and make condescending remarks to their customers. Glen got on me about the stupidest thing of locking my car when I didn't do that (I don't normally lock my car because it's cheaper to lose a cheap sweater in your car than lose a window).
Lastly, don't expect to get your state safety inspection done here. Go elsewhere, trust me. They will basically sell out of available state inspection slots by the time they open, and there's a line that goes out the door in the morning. I also noticed that prices are lower for similar repair jobs for off-base locations. I just went here for the convenience, but I won't make this mistake again and am going off-base for car repairs from now on.
Overall, some of the mechanics are incompetent, the manager is a condescending jerk, they are overwhelmed and under staffed, but at least the receptionist, Nicky is nice.

Been a customer for 3 years and have never found a more trustworthy or caring shop. Recently brought my car in for an odd issue. After trying everything, they were unfortunately unable to diagnose the issue and recommended I take it to a dealership. However, I was told if I brought it in and was worried I was getting ripped off I could call and consult with them. Being a young woman with extremely limited knowledge of cars, this was a huge comfort as I've been ripped off before. Called with my quote from the dealership and was offered an honest opinion which was a massive help to me. Even when they weren't the ones fixing my car, Precision Tune still took care of me and went out of their way to help me out. Can't recommend this place enough.

Less expensive wheel alignment, but the only problem they don't give appointments.

I get there around 7:30 wait over 10 minutes in a line to be told they’re all full for the day. How hard is it to put up a sign?”we’re sorry for the inconvenience but we’re all booked up today” something like that. Like seriously wasting their time and others by telling us one by one they don’t have room. They’re first come first serve and every time I’ve gone I’m told they filled up within 10 minutes of opening. The customer service also needs help as when I asked about best times to come the guy just came off rude and anxious. It’s not worth the hassle.

I agree with the previous reviews this place should be a negative 5 stars. I don’t think I would bring my car to here anymore because I don’t trust them, and they easily overcharge. Our car failed inspection because of fog lights, and they fixed the lamps by removing them and charged over $100.00, then they let the car pass inspection.

Took my truck in for a fuel injector code and engine misfiring. Prior to taking the truck in, I got a $128 quote on the part needed for the suspected problem (fuel injector) and 1-2 hours of labor $150-$300, and the truck should be done by the end of the day. Then after several hours I receive a call stating my intake manifold needs to be removed in order to remove the injector, and has to be reinstalled to test it. Makes sense until being told that a new injector isn't being installed, and they were swapping the "bad" injector into another cylinder to see if the issue follows, instead of installing a new injector. This would make sense if the intake manifold did not have to be removed every time an injector was replaced. By doing this, whether they discovered the injector was or wasn't the issue, they still had to remove the intake manifold again in order to replace the injector with a new part that they hadn't even ordered yet, causing the repair to take another day.Following being informed it will take longer because they were coming up on the end of business hours, I received another call. In this call I was told that they confirmed the injector was bad. They also had a new quote for the fuel injector ($300) and with labor included was over $750. I am unsure how a fuel injector that is normally $90 new, that was initially quoted to me as costing $128, is now somehow $300. The original quote of $300 dollars and being done within the day was the only reason I brought the truck in. But those were all baseless claims. The next morning when the shop opened, I called and spoke with the manager asking why the price had changed from the initial quote. He replied with "Sorry, the guy you spoke to yesterday is a part-time employee", also "Your truck has the injectors located under the intake manifold, which takes longer to get access to the injectors.". These are not adequate excuses to as to why my initial quote was less than half of the total I had been given. It is not as if I brought an unknown vehicle to get fixed. I had given the first associate all of the information about my vehicle he needed to give me a quote.I was able to get some of the charges discounted, courtesy of the manager. But even with the reductions, the total was 700.So overall, I was way under-quoted on the cost, It took a whole day longer than initially told, the price mark-up for the part replaced was 300% of the actual part cost, and apparently the employee who gave the quote is incompetent (per the manager). I do not plan on being a returning customer, and I regret not doing the work myself or taking the truck somewhere else.If you read this, go somewhere else.

This is the only place we take our vehicles if we can. Nikki at the front desk is always wonderful! They are always honest and have fair pricing for the area. We had an issue with a repair at a different location and it was covered under warranty at no cost to us.
