Scheduled an appointment for 0900 to have my car battery checked. At 1100 the car had not been touched. Left and was told I would receive a call back. At 1:30pm I called them and they said the battery, starter, and alternator were fine. They suggested an electronic component evaluation, said they would complete it and call me back. Called them AGAIN at 4pm to which they replied it would need to wait until the next day. Next day at 1100 they called to say they did the electrical eval but they couldn't find the problem. Brought my vehicle to Ford Dealership, they called me within an hour saying the battery was bad and needed to be replaced. If you are behind on your services, do not take on additional appointments.

1st strike of this location was putting my car on a lift without raising the support plates up as my car is a lower sitting vehicle and requires the plates to be raised to not damage my body kit.I had to call a manager over to have the tech drop my car, raise the plates and then re raise it as it was bending my body kit.Funny enough you no longer can see into the shop as they have spray painted the windows with walmart special frosted glass spray paint so you can't see them if they damage your car.2nd strike is selling me a tire from 2022 in 2024. The tire lasted less than a month before catastrophiclly failing. I had noticed air leaking 3 days post install but tossed it to being the fluctuations in temperature messing with the air pressure. Low and behold the wires were exposed internally causing small leaks around the tire.3rd strike. When trying to resolve the failed tire, they claimed that they had to call a different pepboys because the dot code doesn't match? The tire was on less than a month and no rotations had been done.This should have been a quick, oh yea we messed up here's your refund situation that is turning into a lengthy. Unnecessarily drawn out problem. It's sad to see a company not stand being their products especially when they are so vital, important and could cost someone their lives.

Took over four hours for them to exchange one new tire. They gave me an hour and a half ETA and then another 30 minutes after I called at two hours. After the four hours, they called me when I was almost there to tell me it’ll be done in 15 minutes and needed to be reminded of which tire was being replaced.

Over priced. I needed brake pads and rotors on my car. Parts cost $150. Yet they were gonna charge 650. So 500 in labor for 45 min of work. Took to another shop and was Done in an hour for 400 cheaper.

Normally, when the temperature outside is below 30 degrees, I go to Pep Boys for air in my tires. I'm usually there around 7:30 am, and a mechanic will come out to put air in the tires. Today, I drove over for air and was told by a mechanic that he couldn't do it because the air pump didn't come on until 8 am. It was 7:44 am, and he should have asked if I could wait 15 minutes, OR he could have just told the truth and said, "I'm sorry, senior citizen, I'm just too lazy to drag the hose out." This store has other issues, so I suggest that you go elsewhere. One of their main problems is the lack of customer service; the second is they no longer sell parts! That's right. I was told by a mechanic that they have to send out for them, so they ask customers to drop their car off now. I was also told they are severely short-staffed, and that's why when you make an appointment, they can't take you when you arrive. They strictly do first come, first serve-based service yet keep a calendar on their website for customers to set up appointments.
