My family has been doing business with Patrick’s hardware for over 100 years and I have known three generations of the family. First, they are outstanding, and above all ethical individuals who, if they are asked, give you the best guidance in your hardware needs. Second, based upon generations of knowledge of both hardware and building, they might make a suggestion that you hadn’t thought of which will save you a great deal of time and money. Last of all, if they don’t happen to have what you need then they will direct you to a place that has this product or, if you would prefer, order it for you with arrival usually within a day. Last of all I have never walked into Patrick’s hardware, and not found a friendly smile of a person who really wants to help you, not just sell you something. I think that Patrick’s hardware is the finest hardware store I’ve ever been into in my entire life. Win Winfree.

New to the area and happened to bump into this fantastic hardware store. They have what looks like anything and everything you would ever need.Met a very nice gentleman, may be part of the Patrick family wish I had asked, who direct to exactly what I needed. Great local business that have been around well over a century. My new gadget place.

I read an earlier review that kind of sort of insinuated that the employees at Patrick's Hardware ignore customers when they enter the store. Presently I rent and whenever I go there for a small do-it-myself projects I am always greeted with curtesy and respect. I sometimes ask of their expert advice when I am not sure of what I will need. They remind me of the folks at Game's Farmers Market, extremely helpful and I always need assistance when I go there. Patrick's Hardware will continue to be my go to place for menial projects. I would definitely recommend their personable services and vast knowledge and I will always choose Patrick's over Home Depot and Lowe's!

My mother called to get service and was treated unfairly by Ryan Patrick who told her that driving from Queen St. in Hampton, just past the NNSY over the James River Bridge is not possible. Really?!?! Your business is Turning Down a customer because of where they live? Looks like we’ll be giving someone else our business that you just lost!!!
