Don't' get it twisted to suit you. My rating wasn't about not being able to get an appointment since there are so many braiders all over the place. My rating was about customer service and how the communication made me feel. Read it again and be accountable!---------The owner was very distant and appeared very moody and uncaring to the point where it seemed like I was bothering her after I stepped into her place of business where I thought I could spend my money. Just based on the conversation and the attitude, I walked out of there never to return! Note: Black Women have a hard enough time in this world and in the workplace which is why we should help each other out because that is how you get your blessings and how your blessings continue. Sisters please keep in mind that we need to acknowledge each other and support each other at all times. Let's stop looking at each other as though we are better than the other African or African American.

i got a standard barber style haircut. price on her website was $35, but she jacked up the price $20 because she had to cut morehair than she expected.. i had about 3-4 inches of hair, that i washed and detangled myself. She only mentioned charging more when i asked her about the price change right before payment. I wouldn’t mind as much if she told me BEFORE finishing my hair. haircut was definitely not worth $55

I got small/med box braids & they did even better than I expected. These are my go to braided from now on. Also the owner had her kids in the shop & they were very well behaved & well managed. Im so thankful I found them.

I love my hair after Matenna works her magic. Decent prices and you will not get better quality of service anywhere else! Everytime I'm in her shop the atmosphere is awesome everyone is really nice and accommodating. Everytime I leave I feel like my best self .. very gentle on hair it doesn't feel tight when she is doing it but it is, trust me last 2mos +. I love her work and her whole staff is amazing!!
