There are better stores to shop for furniture, electronics and appliances.I had to call non emergency on them after i left because they put customers at risk.They also have mold behind the bedroom displays which may be why they said I was nervous and acting scared...umm yeah, it's mold.The management Dakota, Ron, team leads Alexa-Amaya and Brianna C. have no respect for themselves or their coworkers.Ron called me "boy" and another black man's name so he was mad I reported him to HR.Do you not know what year it is doorman? I dont tolerate racism.You are acting out for commission.Brianna C. who was a shift lead who showed up to work with holes all in her clothes said i needed "meds" because I told her and KD to stop bringing groups of male customers into the womens bathroom while she is present and she went offfffff.If I am stating the males bathroom is OK to use, why are you all going into the womens, with men as a whole group. Anyway I am sure you won't answer that with any sensible response, because you do not have one.Be careful shopping there. It's risky.

Applied for credit on line, given a line of credit over 6 months ago. Someone from the Hampton store called me every couple of days asking me when I was coming in the store. That made me not want to shop there because of those constant calls. This past week they sent me an email, stating my account was no longer valid. Yet they sent me another offer of credit the same day in the mail. Don't trust this company.

I am very disappointed with my experience at this Conns store in Hampton, Virginia. I went in for my selection of what I wanted to purchase and stayed I wanted next day delivery. I told the associate I would be back in a couple of hours to close out the sale. When I came back about 2 hours later he changed up and said the items he said were in stock actually were not so I went through the store again and it took way to long to finish up the process even with assistance from the manager. At this point they told me that my merchandise couldn’t be delivered the next day because it was 6:30 it would be two days later. FINALLY out of the store after doing an application AGAIN and then accidentally erasing my purchase twice. I stayed please make sure I have a remote to the tv upon delivery. Guess what tv didn’t get delivered because the delivery driver said he left it because it wasn’t a remote. I can go on and on about this experience however this is getting really lengthy. Do i recommend the answer is NO!

Marvin was an excellent salesman and very knowledgeable. Very helpful and took time to listen to my need not just make a sale. Manager was awesome went 5he extra mile to make sure I got exactly what I wanted .

Hi my name is Dellajean I first wants to give a great big thank you to two amazing managers who went out there way to satisfy a customer which is me. Ronald and Dakota went the long distance. You see I had order an Electric Stove but when it was delivered and I had sign the agreement. After the deliver drivers had left I realize it was not the stove I order. So I call the store and was told to come in. To discuss the matter I did and they hoped right on it and fixed everything for me. They made sure customer are first and they go the length in satisfying there customer. So if you have an issue like I did don’t wait until the deliver driver leave check it to make sure the item is what you order and if not so the delivery driver can take it back and please remember do it the same day. If the delivery leave s please call right then now a week or a moth later. And I now getting the stove I had wanted. But I also learn my lesson too check your product before signing the agreement. Ronald and Dakota you guys are the best and I truly appreciate y’all going that extra mile for me. And if y’all ever wants to come in an purshase anything ask for Ronald or Dakota but there entire staff are experienced in helping you have a smooth experience also. So come on down to there Conn’s Hampton store location they are found in the Riverdale shopping Center. And tell them Dellajean sent you. You won’t be disappointed.

So my husband and I bought a couch set from here, the day of the delivery the couch was broken at their warehouse and they apparently don’t make that furniture set anymore so we had to pick something else. While trying to pick another set, most of the sets we were picking they didn’t have in stock. Cause why are you advertising something you don’t even have? Which was pretty frustrating. So we went with rooms-to-go instead. We then came back to conns a week later and bought a bedroom set. They said it would be delivered on Nov. 5th and we received a text saying they would be here between 3:45 pm & 6:45 pm. They never showed. Well turns out our headboard was damaged in transit and they failed to inform us. So we canceled our order and asked for a refund.

Amiya where do I start from the moment I walked in with my husband has been super helpful she was able to get my husband to purchase my dream bedroom set and the quality is amazing. She was very helpful and had the patience for me while I was asking her questions. She is a true great sales person thank you so much Amiya

The worst purchased a sectional on July 5th delivery for the 15th. Was out of stock come time for delivery. had another delivery for the 22nd out of stock again. was told the item would be in stock on the 28 and delivered on the 29. called today and you guessed it out of stock. Was already paid for on the 5th and was told it was in stock. terrible communication between sales and warehouses. Good luck on shopping with them if you choose to.

I just got a new refrigerator from Conns, they did great getting it in! Had to fight a little to get it in. They were able to get in and get out super quick and were patient. The delivery guys were awesome!

Where do I begin. We were in the market for a new washer. We went to Lowe's and found a washer we really liked. We should have just bought it there with my Lowes credit card but i wanted to shop around. We decided to go to Conns because we bought a $1300 mattress there last year. Once at Conns we found the exact same washer for $50 more. We then knew exactly what washer we wanted to buy. I told Amiya the salesperson that we were going to go home, take measurements and come back more than likely. Prior to going back to the store I wanted to look into Conns in house financing. I have a conns credit card and lowes credit card but was curious about conns financing because I do not like dealing with Synchrony Bank, the card issuer for Lowes and Conns. I prequalified for 12 months interest free with conns financing. I also saw online that conns price matches. I went back up to the store and met with Amiya (she was fantastic and very very friendly). I told her i was prequalified for 12 month interest free financing and requested a price match for the washer. I had the lowes washer with the model number pulled up on my phone and she verified it was the same washer. She had to talk to someone on the phone to give authorization for the price match. It was like pulling teeth for them to honor the price match. Amiya was very apologetic about the whole ordeal. The price match finally was approved and it was time to sign the contract. I noticed on the contract that the price match was NOT honored. She apologized, stepped away for a few minutes and came back with another contract, this time it was correct. It was ridiculous the hoops she had to jump through to get the price match. Everything got all settled and Amiya told me that Conns would send me an email to confirm everything and i would receive a two phone calls the next day to confirm delivery. She was very enthusiastic and ecstatic to make the sale. She was truly professional with us. Just like Amiya said I did receive an email from conns the following day. Yep, I got an email from Conns at 2:44am telling me my order was cancelled. There was no reason why, just an email to say my order was cancelled. So after being approved for 12 month interest free financing and a hard credit pull, my order was cancelled with no reason given. I called Conns as soon as they opened and the guy on the phone said they received the email too about the order being cancelled and they have never seen anything like that before. The conns guy told me i needed to respond to that email or call customer service because there was nothing they could do for me at the store. I then called customer service and got passed around a couple times. The last person from customer service told me that i needed to speak with the store because it was an in store purchase. I told the person that the store told me they couldn't do anything and she said “yes they can”. I then called the store back and another employee answered. She said i needed to email Conns back using the email address they provided because the store cannot do anything for me. She was very short with me on the phone and gave me the impression that she didnt care and this was my problem. I then emailed Conns by clicking on the email address provided. I tried to email them three times and every time, the email was kicked back as undeliverable!!! The way i have been treated and bounced around between the store and customer service is absolutely unacceptable, especially a repeat customer. Conns has lost a loyal customer. Never again!!! We ended up buying the washer from Lowes and with the free delivery they offer, we actually made out better than conns who charges $100 for delivery. Truly feel “conned” by Conns!!

SHAMEFUL MISLEADING TACTICS! I went into this store today on June 10 2023. I have a synchrony home card. A group of at least 6 employees told me since I hadn't used the card in over 2 years it was inactive! They did said that I needed to get it reactivated. I would just need to give them my last four of my SSN. But don't worry it only a soft inquiry.This is what'd I'd need to do to get the account reactivated. I explained this account was not inactive or closed. And I wasn't giving them my info. They called synchrony using merchant Id. I could hear THIS.I WORK IN THE CREDIT CARD INDUSTRY! So this didn't seem completely abnormal. I provided my name and card info to the Sychrony agent who advised this account was active. After the salesperson ended the call, they walked away to the desk where no less than 5 agent including an Manager were . Then after a few minutes the salesperson came back to me and told me I couldn't use the card here. If I didn't work in the credit card industry, I would've been signed up for an account I didn't ask for. I wonder how many people have fallen for this?!
