I'm so disappointed in how a potential adoption is being handled. I've had my application in for 8 days and I have NO ANSWER as to whether or not I am able to adopt the kitten I inquired about. So I stop by and I'm informed I can't go in to see the animals except on Saturday. The voice mail says you are open Tuesday - Saturday opening at 10am. GUESS WHAT - No they aren't! You can only visit the animals on Saturday. I'm so disappointed in how you all choose to do business.

So many cute, sweet kitties to adopt. If you’re looking for a kitty cat please go there.

These individuals are helping to keep the cat population at bay while finding homes for the cats. They helped me personally on a few occasions. They are a very courteous and knowledgeable group. It was a pleasure working with them.

They never answer the phone and take forever to respond via email.

I found the director very condescending. First she told me keeping a pet was expensive( she assumed I couldn’t afford it) why? Because I was elderly and black? I waited a long time to see the kittens I asked to see. Also was told I had to adopt a pair and that I needed 2 litter boxes ( not true).I filed a application online January 3rd and was told it hadn’t been reviewed.I’m sorry they didn’t want me to adopt their cats. I’ve had two cats that lived good lives for 10 and 16 years. And now I have a beautiful kitty from the SPCA.

I can say sooo many great things about The Cat Corner. I adopted two wonderful and special Orange Loafs from them over a year ago and they have been absolutely the best cats anyone can ask for. The owner, family, and volunteers show so much love and care to all their kitties and it shows in their cats. They do a wonderful job making sure kittens are fostered and trained, up to date on shots, etc. They are very meticulous about who they adopt to and that is an amazing thing. You are literally adopting one of their babies. They make sure whoever is adopting is a wonderful fit and will take care of their fur babies. Truth be told, its been 1.5 years and I still talk with the foster mother/owner and give her updates because to be honest, she was a major part of my kitties life and she deserves the toe bean tax/updates (and truly appreciates them). When you adopt from Cat Corner, you're a part of their family.

Volunteering at The Cat Corner has consistently been a positive experience. Despite being a nonprofit relying on donations and run by volunteers, this shelter surpasses expectations, ensuring excellent care for its cats. Despite its misleading exterior, it stands out as one of the cleanest shelters I've encountered, with a strong commitment to placing each cat in the best possible home. We adopted a cat from The Cat Corner, the last of his siblings in the shelter to find a forever home. Forming a strong bond with my mom during her volunteering, she decided to bring him home, and he has proven to be a wonderful addition to our family.

This place was my saving grace. My guy of 16.5 years ago passed away and they were so supportive. They never met him and even sent me a sympathy card. I currently am fostering to adopt two beauties there. The cats are well cared for have a physical and shots before adoption is finalized.

Adopted 2 sister kitties from the cat corner and it was an amazing experience start to finish. They are open to the public on Saturday afternoon normally but were able to accommodate my work schedule if I needed to come a different day/time to spend some more 1:1 time with a cat I was interested in, especially if they were more shy or timid. They also bent over backwards to help me get some meds they needed before I could get them in to see my vet. This is an all-volunteer organization that takes in any cat that comes to their door. And, as I learned first-hand, not every cat is right for every person. But the cat corner does as much as they can to match the right cat with the right person to make it the best possible situation for both kitties and humans and to get every cat in their forever, not temporary, home. Their adoption process reflects that, even if it seems more strict upfront than other shelters

Everyone here needs Jackson Galaxy in their lives, to study up on cats and cat behaviors. At the very least, they have outdated ways of introducing new cats to the shelter, and addressing fighting cats as well.

All the ladies at the Cat Corner were absolutely amazing in assisting my family with finding our fur ever baby. We visited the shelter several times. Everyone was very patient and kind with us and assisted us with finding the perfect fit for us. I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had. Kat went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful!

Website is out of date on adoption policy. Phone recoding gives incorrect hours of operation and so does google. Showed up with two workers here, but the lady with blonde hair and bob wouldn’t allow my daughter and I in. on the door there’s a sign that say complete application online but online it says come in. On the door it says by appointment only but it doesn’t state that online or over their phone recording. The woman wouldn’t let us even come in to talk or see the cats, she stepped outside and pretty much sent us away. Bad business for a shelter that needs help. Won’t be returning or donating anymore.
