I haven't had the occasion to write a bad review in a very long time. Now I must. I have been using this Walgreens location since we moved here a year ago. They have been ok. On one occasion recently the tech on the phone was rude but I let it go. Three weeks later, I had my annual physical and was told my prescriptions for refill would be sent. My 19 year old niece died instantly in a car crash and we were gone for two weeks. When I returned and checked my email and went online, two of my 4 prescriptions had not been filled. I had one pill left and the side effects of missing are severe. I work, my husband picked up the prescription at the doctor's office at 8:30 am. He dropped it off at Walgreens at 9:30 am and explained the situation. They said they were backed up so it would be a couple of hours before it would be filled. I arrived at 5 pm (they close at 6 pm) and was informed that it wouldn't be ready until 11:30 the next day. I explained my situation to the tech and she said, "Then take it somewhere else." I asked to speak to the pharmacist. The pharmacist came over and I explained my situation. She said, "I can't safely fill this." I said, "You know the side effects if I miss a dose." She repeated "I can't safely fill this" and walked away. I then asked the tech if the Walgreens a few miles away might fill it. I asked if they could transfer the script and she said "they" could upload it. I asked if they could make sure they could fill it. She said, "Call them." I asked for the number and she said, "You can google it as easily as I can." I googled it, called but couldn't get through. There were no other customers. The two techs were making phone calls to customers to see if they would like their prescriptions refilled automatically. When the tech I had been talking to finally got off the phone, I asked, " Can you help me?" She replied, "I already did." Shocked, I replied, "Will you transfer the script?" She sharply replied, "I told you "they" can upload it." I said, "Can I speak to a manager?" She replied, "You already did." I leaned over and said to the pharmacist, "This is really not right." She didn't respond to me. She picked up the phone and said threateningly "We need a manager back here." I walked away in tears and heard them laughing and saying, "She was upset hahaha" The store manager saw me and was nice, but said he had no control over them. I drove to the Walgreens at 919 Mercury in tears. I stood in a long line . When it was my turn, the tech graciously said, "Of course, we'll have it ready in 15 minutes." And they did. I asked her what the term "I can't safely fill this prescription" means, and she said, "I've never heard that expression." The Walgreens Pharmacy at Big Bethel should be closed. I have never been mocked and so badly treated in my 67 years.

I think that the workers here are very kind and are working through a lot of orders. I feel that the company is understaffing them and it's probably partly or maybe mostly because of covid, I do not know. I have to say that I spent four days trying to work through issues trying to get medicine right before a trip and had multiple very long wait time phone calls, including a 50 minute one. The second I get there the day before I have to leave, one of my refills that should've been done 48 hours ago after issues were resolved with insurance was not filled. I thought okay, it's fine, I'll get the one that is and have to send the other to the Walgreens at my next location I go to (which will be three days out that I am off a very important medicine). The second I get to the line they cut it off. I am fed up and though the workers here are very kind I cannot keep going with this business. I know it is not the workers' fault and this is more so a gripe with the company. After I get these necessary medicines, I will not be using the company anymore. I gave four days advance and solved all issue, I should've received the items two days ago, and would've been perfectly fine and understanding with receiving them so late today had that happened.

I normally don't do this but this store pharmacy is terrible if you are on hold trying to find out the problem with a call in drug order. All I kept hearing was you are the 4th in line, then third, second..... then next. Then I was disconnected. Went up there to find out what the heck was going on only for them to tell me the pharmacy just closed. STEWING !

The easily overwhelmed pharmacist at this location is verbally abusive to women he doesn't know and who are customers, so I know he's abusive to the women staff in the pharmacy. His complete lack of customer service coupled with his unethical pharmacist behavior took me by complete surprise. Thank goodness I asked to see the manager who assisted me in getting my father vaccinated. It took over an hour and he was the only customer there getting any injection. Perhaps the easily triggered pharmacist should learn or remember basic home training when speaking with a woman/customer. My simply asking if he remembered we were at the window still waiting wouldn't have sent the average pharmacist off the deep end. He's just plain old rude. Do better Walgreens.

I stopped by during my lunch break to pick up some earplugs and nightlights for a family member. The store was clean and organized. The staff was pretty friendly. They had everything I needed. I was in and out very quickly. I will definitely go back.

I wish this location had longer hours. This location is clean and the staff is really helpful so it would be nice if it we opened 24 hours since the one near Langley gets so busy at night.
