“Ok so I'm always a fan of Barnes & Noble but this Saturday morning the store at 5100 Kilgore Ave, Hampton, VA 23666 seemed to be extra special now bookstores are normally quiet but and it was quiet with just a hum of activity. So surprising before 9am on a weekend. Pleasant I chose a comfortable chair after trying several. Fired up the free wi-fi and chilled a bit before circulating through the stacks. Sure it's simple to get an ebook, read it anywhere anytime on your phone but I still love to hold a book and turn the page and actually see the advancement as the front becomes thicker the back thinner.
Very polite CSRs very clean store including the restrooms.”

“Going to give a 5 star review based on the inventory and the kindness of the owner, I don’t mind the book mountains everywhere, it’s very unique. I will say this though, the leaky ceilings have caused mold, particularly in some off the “off limits” rooms. With that being said, I have never left this establishment without a headache, and I KNOW it’s from the mold. We love your store and your kindheartedness, but please tackle the mold issue !”
“Nice little bookstore nestled into an alley way in downtown Hampton. All prices are 50% off of the original MSRP which means GREAT books at GREAT prices. Loved the little pooch helping behind the register as well :). Good selection from Sci-Fi to Thriller to Religious and the lovely lady behind the counter was amazingly kind. Loved the quiet little library vibes of the place and will definitely be coming back and recommending this to friends!”
